Hope Rieko's OK - he took a heavy knock just before HT and didn't look at all good.
Good win for the blues, though maybe at a cost for both the A team and the Blackness

It's real tight at the top of the table at the moment, any slip up could have one hell of an impact on the finals makeup.

Still think it should revert to semis and final, too many games that the result doesn't matter in the overall scheme of things currently. Is any team out of contention at this stage?

Moana Pasifika vs Highlanders kicking off shortly in balmy Nuku'alofa.

This is the first ever Supe game to be played in Tonga, I think.

Highlanders win a very damp game 28-17.

Appalling conditions but it was an entertaining game.

Now for the Crusaders vs Red, easily the match of the round.

Expecting a huge game from "world class" first five David Havili.

Try not going to be given.

Just a thought but I can't recall any tip tackles leading to YC or RC this year. Have players all suddenly become smart about their tackling technique?

The lineout is not working so the solution is to keep trying long throws. Right.

Saders are a much better side with Scooter on the park.

Reds down the Saders 33-28, their first win in Christchurch since 1999.

Largely quiet debut. Botched his first kick at goal, which was a sitter, and off by HT. To be expected really, after such a long injury break.

Yeah, they were a somewhat makeshift team this week, and it showed early on. No DMac, Ratima, Stevenson, Narawa...

Shit news that Josh Lord is gone for 6-8 weeks. Can't see him making the first ABs squad now. Such a fine prospect - he was excellent against Argentina last year - but he's just missed sooo much rugby over the past couple of years.

Game of the round just about to kick off in Auckland.

Billy Proctor out for the Canes, replaced by Bailyn Sullivan.

Agreed, and my comment was well into the 2H when they were playing well.

Caleb Clarke has clearly done some work on his tackling technique -- a genuine try-saver there

That's a real worry, career wise.

Love to be watching this but I'm working later and need to get ready.
