Supersport are getting pretty good at getting the uploads to Youtube removed quickly.

They should just sell the rights to Netflix for international distribution and get it over-with.

It's a well-made sports documentary up there with Living with Lions. Give it some proper exposure and rake in the royalties.

We knew this going into the match. It had been analysed to death.

What was interesting to me was Willie's injury. I don't know how I feel about it.
On the one hand I understand why he made so many mistakes now, but on the otherhand, when you are injured you shouldn't be playing IMO.

Rassie: "Go fuck them up physically, we do all the play and giving away soft fucking penalties."

Interesting the planning and analysis done and practising by the not starting players in the squad.

Cant wait for the last one.

That was a stroke of genius and in hindsight makes a whole lot of sense.
You need to keep the rest of the squad engaged and involved so that they don't become negative and toxic to the team.

I wonder if that is normal among all the teams or if that was unique to the Boks?

It actually rings a bell as to how Nienaber became defense coach when he was physio at the Cheetahs in 2005.
Because they didn't have money, all the management staff had to double up on duties. Nienaber was given defensive coach duties and realised he had a knack for it.
It might be Rassie putting on his "director of rugby" hat and giving some players exposure to the technical analysis side of the game and possibly get them interested in that side of the game after retirement?

I must say I am really enjoying this series. All the moments since Rassie came... Peter-Steph's tears in Wellington, little nipper Herschell's debut against Australia, Siya being made captain.

NKosi comes across very well. As does Trevor.

Love Rassie's sweary English and Afrikaans changing room speeches

Rassie is such an intelligent guy. Predicting Japan to come through the group. Sending first team to NZ instead of staying in SA to play Australia.

Also, Coach Stick looks exactly like an older version of Elton

Rassie is a coach for so much detail and dont left much on the ground. After the Japan test with Kolbe injured and not been able to practise and team protocol keeping him out of the team. Recover on the friday and cutting the starting teams defense and Rassie nearly selected him.

Nienaber played a much big role in the WC success.

Best one to take us further.

Once the Bokke got to the final, they were unstoppable. Practice The Move indoors.

No way England would beat us in the final.

How sad was that bit about Mapimpi, who had his own face printed in his number, because he has no family left.

Pretty much every episode had a couple of dusty room moments, but that bit and Rassie tearing up as he told the story really hit you in the gut.

It was a great documentary; I really hope SuperSport gets their act together so that it can be distributed internationally and get some exposure.
It's a story worth telling.

The only thing that really disappointed me was that Schalk Brits didn't feature at all. Was really hoping to see more of him and the positive impact his attitude and personality had on the team.
Maybe there will be some more behind the scenes moments in being released later.

Ironically he scored the first try.

I also love the input from the non Saffers Felix Jones & Aled Walters.

I cant believe you still get Saffer posters here criticizing Rassie and NiNaber after watching this series.

They were only suppose to win it in the next WC.

Can you remember the trolling about this

If I had to pick, I'd probably say my body is probably most closely matched to Jesse Kriel.

Baie emosioneel toe Rassie oor Mapimpi gepraat het, ook toe Duane oor sy pa gepraat het. Mapimpi het nie eers 'n foto van sy gesin nie.

The last episode reminded me a lot of how arrogant the English media was. I'd forgotten how important the scrums was to that game- that gave us at least 9 points, which was crucial.

And a big apology for Faf and Willie. It was very frustrating, but Faf was just playing to Rassie's plan, and Willie was being a warrior even though his shoulder was fokked up

I would say that I look more like the current picture of Frans Frans Malherbe, only shorter.

What do you call Springbok supporters after watching the series who still don't have faith in the Rassie Erasmus and Jacques Nienaber coaching credentials?

All coaches have gameplans, ways to inspire, motivate and straight talk with players, but not all have a 5 part series made about it.

True. Steve Hansen's was a 6 part series.
