Going from foggy memory here, but wasn't there a issue in the past with a bunch of Leinster players out with hamstring injuries - got be be 5+ yrs ago. Was talk about what they were doing in the gym being a factor. Can't remember any specifics, sprinter type injuries.

Guy was a legend and a superstar, I don't like cricket but everybody knew who he was outside of the sport. Probably one of the few to achieve mainstream recognition.

I too felt sorry for Mir, he had ridden a great race until the red flag. Mebees his tyres would have hurt him anyway? Possibly but the restart meant fresh softs for those that had them.
