Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Going from foggy memory here, but wasn't there a issue in the past with a bunch of Leinster players out with hamstring injuries - got be be 5+ yrs ago. Was talk about what they were doing in the gym being a factor. Can't remember any specifics, sprinter type injuries.

Re: Former PR Lurkers Collective
Have lurked on PR for 17 years. Not one for posting but always like reading the comments from posters on various topics. Similar here, faster to read than post. But should probably contribute, although a few of the posters recently...I'm glad I wasn't posting, complete head melters - we all know wh...

Re: The Official F1 Thread
Reports of Mazepin out, Pietro Fittipaldi in ? Don't know how true that's going to be Giovanazzi would be better choice I'd have thought. Haas financing, could that be jeopardised, daddy Mazepin is part of Putin's bubble. Team of Schumacher and Fittipaldi, surely an unbeatable driver lineup ! Giovi...

Guy was a legend and a superstar, I don't like cricket but everybody knew who he was outside of the sport. Probably one of the few to achieve mainstream recognition.

Re: The Official F1 Thread
Just realised that the 2nd Bahrain race will be on the outer circuit rather than the usual layout. This is probably as close as we will ever get to seeing an F1 car on an oval circuit - 9 corners, most if which will be flat out, 3 long straights, expected lap time is around 55s at an average 230kph...

Nice bit of fraud. https://independent.ie/irish-news/education/students-have-been-left-high-and-dry-pupils-and-parents-in-shock-after-sudden-closure-of-fee-paying-kerry-school-39485911.html That's real nasty carry on. Do they get to just walk away ? It's not the money, the kids have to find schools...

Re: NAMA NAMA NAMA
Lazy journalists seem to gleam commentary and public opinion from Twitter, so maybe some politicians think they need to provide narrative. Unfortunately it's an absolute cesspit of entrails with the shinner bots and their echo chamber completely dominating any political discourse, there's no escapin...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Murray K Larkham says there are no short-term plans to sign second row cover after the injuries to Snyman and Jean Kleyn. Mentions academy pair Thomas Ahern, "who is showing a lot of promise," and Paddy Kelly as two players they would be comfortable using in the senior team. Same story at...

Re: PR looks like it has finally kicked the bucket
Looks awful and very dated. Also, it doesn't autofit the screen for mobile devices ... which makes sense if it's about a decade old :lolno: I absolutely hate that. I always switch to desktop view on any device I have. Just can't stand the auto fit views on any website, yeah the writing's a bit smal...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
any word on Snymans injury? Anyone got a video or a gif? Would like to see it again. At the time I felt he jumped across the line so POM completely lost contact with him, couldn’t really see the rear lifter but Snyman was left to drop without anyone guiding him down. An extremely costly fuck up for...

Yeah, agree completely. Chapeaux to Maverick btw. Stepping off a bike at 150mph or so takes a bit of doing despite the wisdom of doing so in those circumstances - not that you have long to think about it  Pity he didn't use his brains instead of his balls. Had pretty much no brakes since lap 3...

Re: The Official F1 Thread
I too felt sorry for Mir, he had ridden a great race until the red flag. Mebees his tyres would have hurt him anyway? Possibly but the restart meant fresh softs for those that had them. I’d prefer to see the option to change tyres for a restart removed... you choose tyres for a full length race aft...
