Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread

Goosen signs on for another two years at Edinburgh. Good news, but I fear it may be the end of Boff's stay in the capital. Boff seems like an absolutely cracking guy who really bought into the team, but belts are being tightened. Boff is class but he seems to be really struggling to get back to fit...

I don’t think there’s a huge argument for people on benefits taking skilled jobs from contractors, but the state of just about any large town or city suggests we are crying out for more litter pickers etc. My local station had nice floral displays until the station manager who did it as a hobby ret...

There was an article in the Times about it this week, which featured some World Rugby fuckwit justifying it on the basis that they sell loads of All Blacks shirts in Malaysia and Thailand, and they're in Asia as well so it's bound to be hugely popular and attended by loads of locals. On the basis o...

Not sure if I've ever mentioned my possible night out with Sarkozy before. Interestingly the government are fighting and winning battles with ‘the blob’, first abolishing NHS England and now having forced the scrapping of two tier sentencing guidelines. I can imagine Starmer being better at the bureaucratic dogfighting than the Tory spivs we had to put up with for 14 years.

So Le Pen and her associates don't have plausible deniability, whereas the leaders of the other parties doing the exact same thing are more akin to our Post Office management and had no idea what was happening in the organisation they run? With Weir out for the rest of the season , we need both Hastings and Jordan to remain fit, and past experience would suggest that this is unlikely. Weir has been poor every time I have seen him play recently, but this might be a problem as I am not sure Hastings is even fully fit right now. What ha...

He looked pretty decent for the u20s. What I don't understand is that Glasgow have had some injury challenges in the back 3 in the last 2 years. I seem to recall a winger going to SA & starting who wasn't even in the squad. It would seem a prime opportunity to start this lad. I wonder if Franco...

That is actually a good idea. Welsh football has bloomed by being in the Premiership; Rugby might go the same way. :eh: How many Welsh clubs in the Prem?
