Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread
He used to really piss me off when was playing for Wales but I now find Dan Biggar one of the best pundits, very good analysis and encyclopedic knowledge. Think he'd be a real asset to any coaching team.

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread
The vids I've watched doing the Lions match 1 squads seem pretty set starting backline of Dickson-Park, Russel Tuipulotu/Aki Jones/Henshaw VdM Kinghorn/Keenan Lowe/Kinghorn Zander is the only one starting in the Pack. Any way weeks to go and only Andy Farrell is picking the team. It'll be really in...

Windy as F but good performance by Warriors hope they have enough of a lead in the conditions. Hastings 100% in these conditions is impressive.

He was second tackler plenty of time to adjust but went in with his shoulder straight to head with tucked arm. Never anything else but a red.

YAY Helen has visited and signed me into Premier Sports on my laptop so I'm sorted for rugby.
Oh and I got my stem cells put back yesterday. Another month in isolation so anything that helps pass the time is good.

Really impressed by the lads. I started watching it prepared to switch to the Falcons/Bath if it got too gruesome. More than a few really good prospects in the Scotland squad.

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread
Should is doing a lot of lifting there. How often have we been beaten by teams we should have cruised past. Wales have been a bogey team for years under Gatland's first term and looked pretty handy against Ireland while we lost against England in a game we should have won easily. I remain hopeful b...

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread
Wouldn't let Daley on the plane. Keenan at 15, Lowe and VdM wings, Gibson-Park 9, Fin R 10, centres are a toss up so many really class options, 13 depends on who you have at 12. Basically it's a Scotland/Ireland backline with an Irish/English tight 5 maybe Zander in the front row and the odd Scot in...

Thanks everyone. Best wishes to everyone fighting off the big C in its many forms, thankfully treatment is advancing rapidly on all fronts. MM is one of the ones they can't cure but current treatments mean that I should around stinking up the board for a few years yet.

Going to also say something I’ve never said before, Toony out. I think he has done a great job and brought a decade of the probably the most exciting Scotland team in my lifetime, but I’m feeling like this is now the end of the era. That team, much as I still enjoy watching them (mainly), isn’t win...

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread
Ireland deserved winners and losing Russell, Graham and Zander is unhelpful. What really hacks me off is that Ireland seem to have acquired Richie McCaw's cloak of invisibility where officials are concerned, it was so blatant and the officials kept letting them get away with being in the way and obs...

When I saw the squad list I thought Franco was kind of holding back to give the full noise a rest but the guys really stepped up and could have won that. To take 2 points away against Toulon was quite a result. Oguntibeju is a real find.

Re: Ireland vs All Blacks
I thought the Irish pack did OK, the backs on the other hand were absolute dross, passing was diabolical and far from sympathetic even if it went anywhere near their man and they looked like they might as well have been wearing boxing gloves to try and catch the ball. NZ weren't anything special by ...

Footage of a Babyaga drone airlifting dragon's teeth into place. Gotta hand it to the Ukranians must be really messing with Russian minds. Place the teeth in place with the Babayagas then use the attack drones to hunt the 'escaping' vehicles at full tilt into the barriers.

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread
To me the problem with Edinburgh isn't that they're bad players it's just that there's a pedestrian ponderousness throughout the whole team exemplified by Price, way too much hanging about thinking instead of JFDI. Nice win though and I'd been expecting Stormers to tear them a new one, hopefully the...

At the moment Ukraine have switched from Oil/gas facilities to Russian logistics, they've just toasted 2 of Russia's biggest ammunition depots near Toretsk the first one was big enough to register at 2.8 on the Richter scale with about 9 aftershocks from munitions cooking of registering at 2+. I've developed a passing interest in foraging and Herbalism, there are plants and stuff out there that are a damn site more effective than the pharma stuff it's just a case of going finding it and prepping them, so it depends what is in the oil. It's quite staggering the pharmacopia I have in the f...
