Re: Acceptable Cover Versions
How's this for a surprise? Just dropped after sitting unused for however long... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuKXbEB7bUI I like the arrangement, however, Liz Fraser's vocal, itself a cover of course, is almost sacrosanct I think The Czars nicks it by a nose. A young John Grant. https://youtu.be...

Kiwis, I saw Xile supporting Alpha Wolf (good band, terrible name) over the weekend. Didn't realise you had any hardcore* bands that good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XUGXcWdY7A *Clearly metalcore, but the vocalist said "Kiwi hardcore style, cunts" a couple of times while idiots (me ...

Re: Wayne Smith Hates Driving Mauls
Cockers absolutely on the money here: Generally the teams that moan about the maul are the teams that aren’t very good at it That makes zero sense in the context of Wayne Smith. How about… “Generally the teams that defend use of the maul are the teams that aren’t very good at other facets of the ga...

I doubt I’ll ever catch up with your post count on PR. Still, the match threads move at a faster pace over there. That’s about the only advantage I can think of.

I see it as Cammy above saw it.
But going by Lowe’s reaction after, I think he knew he’d scraped the deck.

It’s also a great angle of the no arms tackle. Penalty try. Yep There was no effort made at all to tackle Lowe It’s a shoulder charge I wondered why that didn't come into discussion at all at the time. This has been brought up many times now i.e. what is a defender to do if an attacker goes airborn...

Burt, just such a legend of a songwriter. RIP.
I saw Mr Bungle in Sydney in 2000 and they opened with What The World Needs Now. FNM often played Burt live as well.

Some stats that speak for themselves: Tackles France 271 Ireland 186 Doris: 115m gained Penaud: 134m gained France missed 25 odd tackles, so nearly 10%. I only caught the last 25 mins and the intensity must have dropped off the way the first half was written up. Good to see defence was optional at ...

I guess this is how fans of anyone but Mercedes have felt for last 4 or 5 seasons. The Red Bull is so much better than any car out there. Ferrari is incompetent, Merc is a snail and evey other car is a second slower in race trim. Just give the arrogant sh*te the championship and hopefully the new s...

I don't know why he would use that term. It might have been a dogwhistle type of thing but maybe its commonplace and not frowned upon in Brazil? Its hard to gauge intent. There's absolute massive support for and rabid interest in F1 amongst South Africans of every type. I don't think people realize just how significant it is in Africa that there is a black F1 champion driver. That and we're completely desperate for any type of foreign investment to kickstart economi...
