Re: SA Schoolboy and club sport

Just been watching the highlights. Some great talent on display.
WP's JC Mars and OFS no.8 really stood out. Also the no. 7 from EP.

Just Stop Oil retards need to get tazed and OC sparayed. Same with extinction rebellion and those Insulate types. I sympathize with the causes but these bellends just infuriate me. Not rugby in Scotland but a bit of Scottish tradition in South Africa school rugby. St Andrews College and Kingswood College of the Eastern Cape are piped onto the field by the school band.

Re: The Official Cricket Thread

With the pitch playing like it is, Aus may just be looking to nose ahead here. With the weather like it is and both teams playing to win I feel 250 is a 70/30 chance of winning for England.

Re: The Official Cricket Thread

Jeez I love the Ashes! Nothing better than a test match to beat the Monday blues. Plenty of needle. Hate the Ollie R behaviour but it just ramps up the emotions of the contest. This match just has everything so far. Hope it goes deep into the fifth day and ends in a cracker. I'm an England favouring...

Jean Kleyn - interesting development - has applied for permission to represent the Springboks. The additional players that will assemble in the capital are Cheslin Kolbe (wing), Andre Esterhuizen (centre), Handre Pollard (flyhalf), Jasper Wiese (No 8), Jean-Luc du Preez (utility forward), as well as...

Re: $hark$ 2023 and beyond

Coenie Oothuizen returns. Let's hope he brings back a few other Sale Saffas. Coenie and Vincent Koch bring some serious front row brains trust to the Sharks. I'm pretty sure Koch has a decent future as a scrum coach. We have some tidy young props and having two stalwarts like this should really add...

Re: Springbokke going forward

Libbok had a cracker of a season but this game will shut up the hype merchants a bit. But the game was lost up front. The pack never dominated. I'd rather have Rob du Preez in the Bok set up than Libbok. He's a better fit with our game.

Re: $hark$ 2023 and beyond

I'm happy with the 4 new Sharks poache... I mean signings. Ig Prinsloo -26 yo tighthead from the Pumas. Listed at 139kg although I have seen reports that he's around 125kg. Diego Appollis - 22 yo centre from the Pumas. He looks really useful. RJVR and Francois Venter have been disappointing signings...

1/4 - Stormers vs Bulls: 46k fans
1/2 - Stormers vs Connacht: 47k fans
Final - Stormers vs Munster: 50k fans?

That's a tidy contribution to revenue from the last 3 matches.
