Re: 6 Nations Round 3 - Scotland v England
Scotland were without our best winger I was vaguely trying to justify Borthwicks decision to start the elderly Care. A pointless endeavour. England selection makes as much sense as numberwang. The "Toonie Tombola" was coined as a phrase when Townsend was head coach at Glasgow, with seemin...

Re: Scotland France for the lazy buggers
That TSAanalytics wanker is all over it but in his verbose rant, he forgets that the angle that appears to show the ball on the ground doesn't show the line and it's too far away to be clear if there's anything else between the ball and the ground. Is it a clear and obvious grounding? No it isn't. ...

Re: Scotland France for the lazy buggers
Blatantly wrong decision from the TMO. No only did the ball visibly touch the ground on one angle, you can see it rebound slightly afterwards. It isn’t controversial. It’s just wrong. This This, as clear and obvious as the blatant forward pass for the Dingwall try for England. But at least in the E...

How do I make it white again?? TIA Do you mean just for the bored? Up in the top right there are a few icons. To the left of the bell there is the toggle for light and dark mode. If you're on light it's a crescent moon and clicking it will send you to dark, if you're on dark it'll be light bulb and...

Re: Six Nations Round 2: England vs. Wales
Unless there's been a change in directions on this, the onus is on the defending player to ensure they don't endanger the attacking player... so regardless of intent, contact with a player in the air is a sanction. So you're running towards the ball, someone runs from behind you but faster tries to...

Re: Scotland France for the lazy buggers
Whilst it probably was, there is no angle that actually shows the ball grounded. With the question asked it can't be given. Which does not alter the fact Scotland pissed the game away. At half time I thought the game was lost by the failure to score then. The kick tennis in the second half as we tr...

Re: Scotland France for the lazy buggers
Shambolic decision at the end. I guess on balance there is no doubt the Scots had the rub of the green the whole game from the ref. But still, that fuck up at the end probably overrides VDM's clear and obvious pen try. Penauds blatant knock on was just before the French second try. The French lost ...

Re: Scotland France for the lazy buggers
Can't say it was grounded. Probably was but can't say for sure. Do you think it was levitating? No. I said it probably was a try but no picture showed the ball touching the grass, that's all. Nonsense there is a shot of the ball on the ground unless the bottom half of the ball is missing !

Re: Scotland France for the lazy buggers
You might as well do away with the TMO if you can look at all those angles and still get it wrong. Fair enough if the ref gets it wrong in real time I can live with that, but denying video evidence - bonkers.

Re: Citizens Army, Whose up for it
It's all a rhetorical question, ultimately. I just can't see a land war in NATO that doesn't see Russia thoroughly spanked conventionally, despite all the doom-mongering. Therefore, I can't really see a land war with NATO. Putin fails utterly in any situation if he resorts to nukes in any meaningfu...

For Christmas I was gifted a cold water plunge bath. It’s nothing complicated at all. Basically a half barrel shaped paddling pool. Fill it with cold water and ice, and then torture yourself until you feel good. Anyone else have one, or do cold dips? Please share your experience/tips … I sit in the...

Re: Russell Brand: Raper
Not using a condom when it was agreed, taking it off mid way through, etc etc all counts as rape legally. It's about what the other person consented too. Same for 2 men having sex. If consent was given for sex with a condom, then if the other person removes or pretends then consent is revoked. Ther...
