So, i had enough of waiting for Laurent to get his acts together....

So let's start with a review of the squad of the last champion, ST:

https://www.rugbyrama.fr/rugby/top-14/2 ... tory.shtml

Very solid and a contender for the next title!

Looks very decent.

As an aside, I have never seen Ramos at 10. Is he another Damien Traille there?

He is not great there but a decent backup when everything else is failing.

He has a better pass then Traille.

Hmm. Certainly not a Traille. Trouble with Traille is he had many of the attributes to be a FH (kinda a larger, lump Lamaison) but his desire to shirk responsibility meant he was mentally unsuitable. Just wanted to get away from the ball at 10. He had a great game v Leicester at FH in the HEC once IIRC and didn't he start for France against the might of Italy once too?

Anyway, I digress. Ramos is much smaller. He is a good counter attacker but is prone to the odd Brusque/Poitrefaut brainfarts too. His kicking is reliable enough. Will watch with interest whether he is can work as a foil for Dupont.

What's the general feeling about what seems to be happening at Beziers?

Mourad wants l'OM now!

In regards to Beziers, it would represent a massive injection of cash for the club and wipe out all the debts. You can bet that they would get results pretty quickly.

Salary cap will need to be tightened for sure.

Looks like status quo in Béziers after all.

DNACG is unconvinced.

Completely weird situation.

Pro Rugby changed a lot in 15 years. Now it will be all over the social medias, the player kick from EDF and public apology.

And with École de Rugby + senior side I don't have time to watch rugby...
