They are the only people I’ve seen speculating, nobody else seems to have picked up on anything.

Folk speculating on Reddit that Kinghorn has been fired. That would be, eh, surprising.
Nic Groom left the club "with immediate effect" yesterday, or perhaps the day before. That could be where the "player sacked" whispers are coming from.
There's nothing on TOL twitter feed and they would probably take delight in news like this.

Good although I do worry for him.
When I dislocated my shoulder I was a similar age and the specialist advised at that age there is a high likelihood (40-50%) it could happen again. At that point we agreed to put off surgery to see if it happened again.
Did the hard yards in rehab at the same physios that used to look after Scotland squads (think they have closed their business now), everyone was happy with progress and 3rd game back running to a ruck and bingo out it popped.
He will obviously have access to top medical care but hopefully they are just not kicking an issue further down the road.

You'd hope it'll be strengthened enough without the surgery. That said if it's a personal choice with the chance of a Lions cap looming I know which I'd go for.Big D wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 9:18 amGood although I do worry for him.

I follow them but don't often read their stuff. They just seem to regurgitate a lot of content.

That’s the speculation, yes. I have seen absolutely zero evidence to support it, so it definitely falls into the wild speculation camp right now.robmatic wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 9:46 amDriving offence related?KingBlairhorn wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 7:10 am Folk speculating on Reddit that Kinghorn has been fired. I’m definitely up for a bit of board related shenanigans. Anyone here have enough Twitter followers for instance to get a good rumour going? Something stupid, but believable? Maybe Mark Dodson was lined up as the CEO of the short lived super league or something!

That's rumour. But why a sports team would terminate his contract over such a thing is mind bogglingrobmatic wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 9:46 amDriving offence related?KingBlairhorn wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 7:10 am Folk speculating on Reddit that Kinghorn has been fired. That would be, eh, surprising.
Driving along the M8 with his arse out the window with a message on it written in biro saying "Cockers sucks dead dogs"?mos_eisely_ wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 12:50 pmThat's rumour. All the money you made will never buy back your soul
Sixteen years ago a quite realistic looking Lions selection sheet may have been sent to the rugby chat group on Bloomberg by someone bearing my name.KingBlairhorn wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 12:24 pmI’m definitely up for a bit of board related shenanigans. Was quite surprised when it was circulated widely enough that it ended up covered not only in the Scotsman, but also the New Zealand Herald!
On thinking about it, that incident must have been a while ago so it doesn't make sense to be an issue now.KingBlairhorn wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 12:22 pmThat’s the speculation, yes. Yeah, especially if his court case isn't due for a couple of months.robmatic wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 1:52 pmOn thinking about it, that incident must have been a while ago so it doesn't make sense to be an issue now.KingBlairhorn wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 12:22 pmThat’s the speculation, yes. Given his personal experience of how that can go wrong, it wouldn't surprise me if Hogg has had a very specific conversation with him about potential consequences of driving like a pillock.

All the young lads did well tonight.
I thought so too. A few errors but with hardly any rugby behind some of them it isn't surprising.KingBlairhorn wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 9:05 pmLooks the part, aye.mos_eisely_ wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 8:17 pmGot all the feels. Perhaps the 8 Scotland have been waiting for since Simon Taylor

Some players to be enthusiastic about in there.
