Love that the one posted today is exactly the same style of content. Complete with freeze frames and yellow highlights.
What a guy. Zero shits given.

I have met Rassie. He is a very intelligent individual. It says more about Nienaber that he is allowing Rassie to micromanage everything.Raggs wrote: ↑Mon Jul 26, 2021 8:01 amJust check his twitter. He's quoting/liking etc clips from an account that's either his, or one he's given his team access to.sorCrer wrote: ↑Mon Jul 26, 2021 7:57 amSerious? Where is this?Deveron Boy wrote: ↑Mon Jul 26, 2021 7:42 am Rassie all over Twatter trying to highlight borderline foul play decisions from match. What an absolute arsehole.
The one he posted himself is a mixed bag. Moan about the decision, but tacked onto a legitimate point about leaving injured players alone to make it seem less moany.

This is basically him retweeting himself. Pretending to brush off the refs impact, whilst actually being a whinge about it.
His own content from today, which is basically identical in style
Tbf the account tagged Rassie, so not that hard for him to find. And Rassie's made all of two tweets about it all? Have some been deleted?Raggs wrote: ↑Sun Jul 25, 2021 9:36 pmIt's him. The 16 liked tweets were all liked at times that he was with the team. It also has access to high def angles from the match etc. 0 followers at the time, yet Rassie magically finds it?Margin__Walker wrote: ↑Sun Jul 25, 2021 9:24 pmIt's superb. 4d chess and all that
That other account is 100% him or someone close to him.
Think it's just the two from the burner, and a new one from Rassie himself.
Squidge probably explains it better than me, you can follow his thread on it here, but he posts some more comments in replies, like both using the same style, this twitter nobody obviously having access to video feeds, rather than just taking from broadcast etc:
Give a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
He spent too long at Munster
Probably doing it to draw media attention away from the team.
You don't go around picking up players from the opposition regardless. I would have smacked the fat overweight twat.
Kolbe got busted for faking an injury - if I was a Bok supporter I would probably not want to draw attention to this.
I do agree. It should've been a penalty.
Fucking mad thing for the coach to start highlighting after the game, though. Just fodder for everyone (like me, when I have time) to comb through the game and find 50 incidents like this.
Not really?
It was a nothing incident - a wrong call by the ref, but the sort of wrong call that happens all the time. Plenty of stuff is missed. Rugby simply isn't the sort of sport that holds up to intense scrutiny with lawbook in hand. I could find offences at every ruck if I wanted to. In every match, every team gets away with stuff and every team is incorrectly penalised for stuff.
The point is that this stupid highlighting of marginal errors by the guy coaching the world champions does nobody any favours. This isn't Tana vs BOD we're talking about.
Yeah look I fully accept that this is how the game works. I'm sure there will be howls of outrage again if these sort of decisions go the either way this weekend.JM2K6 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 27, 2021 10:44 amNot really?

However, I really don't think Mako should be walking in and picking up an opposition player, injured or not. It's one of the first things we were taught decades ago.
Is not leaping to your feet straight away feigning injury? CK wasn’t doing a footballer rolling around in agony act.
If that’s your impression as well we agree don’t we? CK ends up on his back, doesn’t get up immediately but neither does he roll around or clutch an allegedly injured part of his body.
Looked a bit winded to me. Normal to just lie there trying to catch your breath for a few secs.
Except it was a fair contest for the ball. Time to ban jumping for the ball if just being the higher of two players in the air = YC for the lower one...
Even if I do feel we were on the wrong side of the ref, I must admit that this magnifying glass of the ref's performance worries me. We can't do this for every test, we should just accept that the ref is human and will make mistakes.
Besides, the Lions had all the momentum in the 2nd half and ended up getting the rub of the green with the ref. This is not uncommon. Moral of the story - stay on top of the game and make sure you're moving forward in a positive manner and chances are that the call may go your way.

As much as I agree that the bent TMO, biased Aussie Ref and sandy pitch all robbed the Boks of the win. The fact is that we were shit in the second half.assfly wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 11:35 am Even if I do feel we were on the wrong side of the ref, I must admit that this magnifying glass of the ref's performance worries me. The only penalty the Lions conceded in the whole of the second half, was the tip tackle that should also have been a card?
“Facts are meaningless. You could use facts to prove anything that's even remotely true.”
That’s impeccable discipline. Like the French in 2007 RWC quarter final.Insane_Homer wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 1:07 pm The only penalty the Lions conceded in the whole of the second half, was the tip tackle that should also have been a card?
Eh? Vuniploa is walking over too him before he even hits the deck. The whole thing is over in a few seconds. He doesn't roll about or carry on.
Mako was definitely in the wrong there.
I disliked that Rassie tagged on the complaint about the decision, but the player safety concerns are absolutely fair.
Give a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
Or maybe he was just winded after landing flat on his back after having had one of his legs taken out in the air?
