Prime in UHD as well, I think.
The Tennis Thread

Had she washed up in a rubber dinghy in Dover 16 years ago and was now on the dole, pretty sure there would be a lot of changed attitudes.PCPhil wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 8:49 amI realise and hope you are you are just having a go at ‘Morgan and co’ but I find this post like the one from Calculon above a bit personal. Why would she have to be ‘claimed’ to be British if she has lived here since she was 2 and it is the only country she has ever known as home. The topic should not even be fit for any discussion.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 8:18 am Born in Canada with a Romanian father and Chinese mother. Would be interesting to see if she'd arrived across the Channel whether Morgan and co would be so keen on claiming her as British. Especially if she was no good.
It is very fit for discussion because it highlights the shifting standards employed.
You're mixing up quite a few different scenarios there. Not even sure where to start.
So I won't bother.
*Disclaimer* - I don't know anything about tennis so apols for the noob question:
I know that a Canadian girl recently won the US open who was of Romanian stock, now there is Radacanu. Does Romania have a good pedigree in tennis? I know the Czechs were really good at tennis but never thought of Romania as a hotbed of tennis talent.

Depends if you think Romanian genes mean anything. She's probably never stepped foot in Romania.
IIRC she goes there 2 to 3 times a year to visit family and stay with her grandmother. she also says she loves romanian food and credits her work ethic to her romanian and chinese heritageKawazaki wrote: ↑Sat Sep 11, 2021 8:43 pmHugo wrote: ↑Sat Sep 11, 2021 4:24 pm *Disclaimer* - I don't know anything about tennis so apols for the noob question:

Three break points and then the break is saved. The Brit lass should have taken that. Could be a big moment in the match.
