Actually I said that England fans were not appealing.

England players appeal all the time. Worse than Indian players.

So this is going to be interesting now. England are going to have to build an innings under a bit of pressure for the first time.

Morgan could bat himself into some form here.

Does any country have pitches as shiny as this part of the world?

Looks like concrete sometimes.

F**k off SL. Eng only likely to lose one game this comp and do not want it to be this one.

Even we don't appeal as much as you guys do.

No need to get upset, though. It was just a play on words from Lobby's post.

Sorry to have upset you.

Judging by our contrasting bowling fortunes, we appeal more because we're getting more wickets...

Sri Lanka need to hold their nerve here.

England building a partnership to launch an attack at the back end.

He's British and proud

Also, unlike the saffa cricket fans on here you only have to read his cricket comments some of the time, so suck it up.

Buttler is going to rescue England big time here. His striking is next level.

Ali and Rashid are going to have a field day bowling on this pitch.

Buttler seeing it like a beach ball and hitting it like a golf ball.

I doubt anyone appealed more often than Robin Jackman but then I guess since he was born in India, played in Rhodesia, married a Safa and played for England...... many countries can take the blame game for the all time worst.

Sri Lanka struggling now. Lost their line and length.

Buttler has scared the bejesus out of them.

I mean Buttler is going to win this game by himself.

Pretty decent innings from Morgan. Allowed Buttler to play his natural game, and managed to play himself into a bit of form. 40 off 36 on this wicket isn't terrible, England pushing towards a very competitive total.

Atherton's point about the contrast between SL quicks and spinners is spot on. Eng is the only attack where the seamers have managed to bowl with consistently enough discipline to keep the RR down. Pace on the ball is clearly the batsman's friend on these tracks.

Bowl it under arm. 99.

{EDIT} And that really was the very worst ball that could have been delivered. Rabbit in the headlights stuff.

Hell of a way to get your first international T20 ton.

He is unstoppable - best hitter in the game.

Basically - to beat England you have to get Roy and Buttler out early.

What I particularly liked about that innings was how humble he was throughout. Some of the humility in those sixes was astonishing.

It was the endless apologising to the Sri Lankan team that tugged on my heart strings.

I think he was just agreeing with the wicket keeper's suggestion that colonialism was evil.

Rashid with instant impact. Bamboozled him twice, third one gets him charging and walloping one into the air for an easy enough catch for Mooen.
