The scheduling is really weird - after this game group 1 will have played 11 of 15 games, group 2 only 7 of 15.

4 teams in group 1 will have played 4 of their 5 games whilst NZ, Namibia, India and Scotland have only played 2!

Fantastic work by Rabada & Nortje - looks like SA's pace attack will be a handful.

Yep - it's been a bit lively and they were getting some lateral movement - Bangladesh look all at sea on this sort of deck - they've been very disappointing throughout the tournament - even struggled in the qualifying round.

This should do wonders for the SA NRR. Australia will now be praying that England beat SA - it'll be very hard for Aus to get their NRR up to the required level should SA beat us.

Net run rate - found one link that suggests if you are all out it is calculated as if you had faced all 20 overs? Is that definitely the case in this tournament? It would make sense to me, would seem ridiculous if when you are 120 all out after 10 you get an NRR of 12 rather than 6.

I have to admit that I switched off the TV after Markram's dismissal.

I did have work to do, but even so...

Was clearly pitched outside leg but with Rizwan doing a Boycott, would have been preferable if he had been out.

The Proteas have this habit to get knocked out of WCs in the strangest ways specially Australia.

I still have nightmares about Klushner & Donald.

This 2 should try and hit everything for 6 now. Other bats need some innings time.

NZ 70-3 v Scotland.
It's been 'interesting times' ... Williamson and Conway lasted 7 balls between them, and apart from one blowout over we've been pretty much tied down.

100 partnership, but Guptill has been wobbling for several overs then had to run 5 singles in 17th over.

Cross very impressive.
Great keeping from him and then 5 successive boundaries and it's suddenly a return to interesting times.

5 fours in a row off this Milne over. And that should have been 6 in a row.
