Weekend thread - Ita v NZ 1p | Eng v Ton 3.15p | Wal v SA 5.30p | Fra v Arg 8p | Sco v Aus Sun 2.15
6 all after 20 mins.
Wales struggling in the set pieces. Minced in the scrum, scrappy lineouts and not looking flash under the high ball; but playing at pace and trying to find some holes with clever passes.
Boks grinding Wales down. Brutal in contact and making the ruck area very competitive. 3 turnovers so far, but also 3 penalties conceded giving Wales points and momentum.

Don't quote me but I thought visitors had the choice?
{EDIT} Apparently in all comps, both sides must agree but for others (i.e. including these AIs), it's Wales' choice.

It boggles the mind. Such a Hail Mary. I get really annoyed at how limited the Boks are when it comes to exploiting an advantage call.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 5:54 pm Pollard goes cross field to his one player not interested in the aerial ball

It was a shit kick anyway; even for a freebie with the advantage.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 5:54 pm Pollard goes cross field to his one player not interested in the aerial ball
A prop could have gotten to it from the opposite wing; with such a high, slow trajectory
Ah, of course. Makes sense. My apologies.fishfoodie wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 5:58 pmNot allowed to close it because of Covid rulesTorquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 5:56 pmDon't quote me but I thought visitors had the choice?

Even if all those were only penalties, that was at least 3 advantages in a single passage.
