Must say the Lions contained all the WP players including Roos and Moerat....tackled them backwards

Very impressive effort...go to the top of the Saffer teams now

Lions looking pretty solid.

Stormers looked terrible. What the fuck were they thinking signing Libbok? Haven't seen their scrum go back like that in a while.

That was impressive...I would have preferred to see Ginger there to really Guage the Lions scrum strength. Although Brok looked decent up North he was found out locally

Next round will be interesting. Sharks have Benetton I think....( 8 )
Lions Leinster ( 1 )
Bulls zebre ( 16 )
WP Cannacht ( 6 )

Lions have toughest outing against log leaders
WP against current number 6
Sharks against 8th placed
Bulls against bottom of the log

Depend if we are still on rhe red list. The best will be if we get our derbies done, then go north and finish our home games in the end against the NH sides.

Libbok and Brok Harris were absolutely garbage, but fuck me no Stormer was more shite and turned good ball into bad more often than Dan Du Plessis!!! Dropped 6 passes, turned over twice and ran away from his support constantly. Burger Odendaal made his private dancer tonight.

Gelant was fine. At least he made things happen. Dan, Nel and Rikus have no idea how to play with Gelant, bunch of monkeys who can’t run support lines or catch a ball. Shithouse.

His defense was kak and never in position. This one is done luckily we haven't played against Zebre.

Rubbish. Front row were kak, flyhalf toilet, centres even worse. Until Gelant hurt his ankle (he really is more injury prone than The Lambulance) he was our best player.

Loves the blame game.
Today he is blaming the whole team for not executing the game plan decided at half time. Normally it's a player here or there. Feels nothing to shift the blame. It's no wonder they are all leaving

Some one (I believe it was one of those "premier posters") told me a while ago on PR that he was the prince of centres and he's bound to be a Bok sooner or later, more like the king of kak?

Currie Cup also start in January. Meaning the 4 URC franchises will play in two competitions which will be interesting.
Iol
Seven teams are set to participate in the elite domestic cup – The Bulls, Cheetahs, Griquas, Lions, Sharks, Pumas and WP. The Currie Cup starts on the weekend of January 14 with WP facing the Lions; the Cheethas taking on the Griquas and the Pumas hosting the Bulls. The Sharks first match will be a midweek encounter on Junaury 19 at Hollywoodbest Kings Park against the Griquas.

The URC, meanwhile, will restart for the local franchises in the new year on Friday, January 7, when Leinster host the Lions, and a day later when Benetton face the Sharks, Zebre encounter the Bulls and Connacht take on the Stormers.

Lots of rugby.

Fantastic news. But I'm sure Munster, Cardiff and Scarlets must be fuming after forking out a small fortune for quarantine that was totally unnecessary.

SA teams get a longer break from the competition, however the Currie Cup starts at 15 January and it look like the franchises will use different coaches but one squad for both competitions.

Thanks to the covid rescheduling, looks like SA teams will get some easier games during the 6 Nations when the NH teams have the internationalists away. I guess that levels things up a little after they didn't have the Springbok players at the start of the season.

Thanks to the covid rescheduling, looks like SA teams will get some easier games during the 6 Nations when the NH teams have the internationalists away. I guess that levels things up a little after they didn't have the Springbok players at the start of the season.
Pleasure Boet. The difference is that most of our Springboks plays in the NH teams/France/Japan.
It's only the Sharks & Stormers that were weakened. I really enjoy the URC.

Pounds and Euro's to pay for their Staycation in Rands.

Ja. It's been very stop-start so far. It will be nice for a few more games to be strung together in succession.

Ja. Even if it is the Stormers beating all comers week in and week out it is better than no rugby.
