Yeah. On the language thing, it's his claims about being fluent that are BS. I've seen polish speakers giving him about a 6/10 - can communicate quite well but is obviously speaking a second language and heavily accented. So needing lessons is justified to become more adept at the language. Whether it's a reasonable expense for an MP is another thing though.not_english wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 3:37 pmIs that the guy who has claimed thousands in expenses for Polish language lessons, despite having claimed previously that he is fluent in PolishSaintK wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 1:15 pm In non Blonde slug news this serial offender is at iot againhttps://www.theguardian.com/politics/2 ... apologyA Conservative MP faces suspension from the Commons after the standards watchdog found he undermined a formal apology over intimidatory behaviour towards staff by indicating in media interviews that he did not fully mean the gesture.

Stop voting for fucking Tories
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?
Yougov poll
Lab 38% (+1)
Con 28% (-5)
Lib Dems 13% (+3)
Interesting if the libdems can take more particularly in the not conservative not unionist parties southern wall.
Edit: still think bumblecunt is an unflushable turd that always floats back up.

That would give a labour majority of 2 according to electoral calculus

No, it's just done on straightforward swing.

A scumbag

Will the Met be disciplining any of it's officers; who Friday, after Friday; saw these Parties happening, on cctv; & failed to follow these "Guidelines" ?
Will they fuck !
Will they fuck !
Cummings will be pissing himself, watching them tie themselves in knots before he offloads another leaked email/photo/video. Our whole Gov is getting the piss taken out of it and being completely stymied by a disgruntled ex employee, you couldn't make it up. Meanwhile the Blonde Bumblecunt is running scared and conveniently isolating because of a 'covid contact', does anyone actually believe this shit?
Dear God. I had a WTF moment when I heard that on the telly and thought I hadn't heard it properly.tabascoboy wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 5:47 pm Here we go...

Scummings wasn't going to let Randy Andy's story, displace the #10 Parties; so he releases one that links the shit going on in #10, to the Queen.
Probably should have waited a day, would have got more coverage.fishfoodie wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 10:07 pm Scummings wasn't going to let Randy Andy's story, displace the #10 Parties; so he releases one that links the shit going on in #10, to the Queen.

Is this the last straw? I reckon this is why the Blonde Bumblecunt has mysteriously found a close contact with covid and is self isolating, he knew it was coming and has run away. He is a number of pretty awful things but most of all he is a coward! Perhaps Priti Patel should strip him of his citizenship and let the US have him?fishfoodie wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 11:01 pmand equally interesting that the current Deputy-Editor of the Sun; was the subject of one of these Parties; but somehow his shit stain of a publication; which fashions itself as a "Royalist", paper; didn't publish this story first ? .......salanya wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 10:45 pmProbably should have waited a day, would have got more coverage.fishfoodie wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 10:07 pm Scummings wasn't going to let Randy Andy's story, displace the #10 Parties; so he releases one that links the shit going on in #10, to the Queen.

After the 1st leak of the photos of a #10 Garden Piss up; I remember one of the commentators mentioning, the context of the Queen having to sit alone; & even then; I thought how that was a singularly powerful image.
Add that to stuff like JRM lying to the Monarch, about prorogueing; & the ongoing destruction of the Union; & you've a very powerful argument to a significant part of the Tory membership; That this isn't the Leadership that their Party needs.
I think it was Starmer who made this comparison at the first PMQs after the garden party photos appeared.fishfoodie wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 11:20 pmI think at some stage before ascending to the Tory leadership; he renounced his US citizenship.dpedin wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 11:12 pmIs this the last straw? WRT to the Telegraph story, I think its got to the stage where it might be easier for the papers to just identify the days last year on which Boris wasn't attending a fucking drinks party at No 10.

And of course it wasn't just #10; it was multiple Ministries; & the likes of TPHQ, for their failed Mayoral candidate.
This is why a scrote like JRM is trying to re-write the legislation that was enforcible; & retrospectively turn these illegal parties; into innocent; "work gatherings"

Considering the telegraph is a conservative government campaign tool first and newspaper second it's very notable.salanya wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 10:45 pmProbably should have waited a day, would have got more coverage.fishfoodie wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 10:07 pm Scummings wasn't going to let Randy Andy's story, displace the #10 Parties; so he releases one that links the shit going on in #10, to the Queen.

Also in the press Johnson is confident in Sue Gray's non independent enquiry saying he didn't break any rules. We've got into a situation a civil servant is responsible for telling the police if something is illegal but won't do that as Johnson is technically her boss.
With all that ongoing, the current corruption scandal ruled on by the courts two days ago and the queen taking away her sons military honours for his shenanigans. The UK is in danger of becoming a banana monarchy.

I think the Telegraph knows it's readers very well. They'd put the Queen above the Tory party and for the movers at the Telegraph they must be aware that Boris is increasingly a lame duck. May as well knock him on the head and start again.
Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot, But he'll remember with advantages, What feats he did that day
I suspect the Telegraph also know that there is more shit to come so have changed horses in mid race so as no to be caught backing a loser. I wonder who they and their backers have anointed as the new PM - Truss, Sunak, Gove?Paddington Bear wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 8:30 am I think the Telegraph knows it's readers very well. Jacqui Smith again made a good point this morning, she said she finds the number of parties these people were having extraordinary, and quite alien to her experience of government.
I know people who have worked in senior civil service positions, not quite Sir Humphrey, but the next level down and they tell me that there must have been a huge culture change because there doesn't seem to be anyone saying "This is bad, it doesn't look right and it's inappropriate anyway"
I remember several social evenings my wife was supposed to attend being changed because the theme was deemed inappropriate, eg a Bond night got the kybosh because even pretend gambling was unsuitable.
These people just appear to be unprofessional, to be honest.

I think the idea that heavy boozing in government was invented by the post-Brexit Tories is a serious delusion.

Is it cut through if your polling goes up?!
A big problem labour have in these polls is Tory voters aren't saying they'll labour. They're just saying they won't vote. Which they will at an election, for the Tories.

It seems pretty heavily implied in your post. Civil servants, MPs and cabinet ministers have been getting sloshed since time immemorial, often on the job.Tichtheid wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 9:58 amPaddington Bear wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 9:55 am I think the idea that heavy boozing in government was invented by the post-Brexit Tories is a serious delusion.

I fully believe Brown, Thatcher and May would have ensured this didn't happen and that Boris has created an atmosphere of lawlessness though.

There were quite a few people who responded to the 'bring your own booze' email expressing reservations, and saying this couldn't be right, but they were only junior staff so didn't matter.Tichtheid wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 9:54 am Jacqui Smith again made a good point this morning, she said she finds the number of parties these people were having extraordinary, and quite alien to her experience of government.

Culture has definately changed since when i first started in the CS, nowadays it is completely discouraged, if you want a drink after work you slip off down the pub for a quiet one, in fact my dept has completely banned any alcohol at lunchtime.Paddington Bear wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 10:31 amIt seems pretty heavily implied in your post. What was in my post was that Jacqui Smith said she was surprised at the number of parties this current government seem to be hosting, and that civil servants and party members usually show a lot more good judgement and discretion than the ones who have been attending these parties, and certainly given the circumstances of what everyone else in the country was facing.
Yes MPs and guests have been getting arseholed in the HoC bar for centuries, but the current lot seem have a particular sense of entitlement, and the culture is set from the top.
