Should be 2 decent games again this weekend, the 2 backlines in the Connacht v Munster game are tasty, I expect Munster to win the forward battle though.

A bit late but i couldn't watch the match as I had a shift. Was hoping for an Ulster win but sadly it wasn't to be. "Congratulations" Leinster.

Thought I heard the BT commentator mention during the Ulster game that our squad would be announced this week at some point.

Need to mentally prepare myself and get my outrage sorted for when Hume/Doak/Timoney/Lowry/Baloucoune don't get picked you see.

Someone said that England's squad was being announced tomorrow. Would imagine there can't be too much of a discrepancy with other squad announcements.

They usually announce quite early. Eddie Jones seems to just name the team and leave it at that.

Spivs circling us. And to think some people want to further handicap us by putting a salary cap in place to stop us overachieving and competing with big money teams like Sarries, Munster and Toulon

Are both Harry Byrne and Joey out for the 6N?

Things could be fairly bleak at 10 if Sexton goes down. How many games has Frawley played at 10 this season?

I think he featured once at 10, though can't remember how many minutes. He's the best option I think, assuming he can move in one okay.

Being serious, you should probably look at John Madigan who is playing in France at the moment. Big fella. Would be a handy squad player now that he's over the injury issues that plagued him in Munster.

GT claiming that Lowry will make the squad. While I'd love to see it and I think he'd deserve to be there on merit, I just can't see Farrell rolling the dice on him given how conservative he's been with selections.

Well that's me told.
Treadwell in is a bit of a shock. Good game against Saints and has been motoring along nicely over recent months, but I'm not sure he's international standard. Not even Robbie Diack standard.

Complete noob here but want to register outrage over:

Lowe being dropped
Earls & Murray & O'Mahony still being picked - don't care about central contracts - there are better players in every position
Speaking of - where are Doak and Cooney?
And Frawley?
Larmour is lucky.

Good news:
Treadwell, Hume, Lowry and Hansen.

Lowe ain't dropped. POM still has something to offer, other two are meh until a better option comes along.

Larmour I'm told is on fire again so looking forward to seeing if he's learned from the experience out in the cold. Frawley should have been in a development spot.

Oh, and fuck off Noob. Nice to have you on board

Someone needs to take Earl's place on the lifeboat tbf.

He needs to up his "Stockdale has actually been great for Ireland despite everyone else thinking his form has fallen off a cliff since he fluffed his lines against Leinster" game though.
Ian Madigan for Ireland.
