Life is a horid bitch
Just over 2 weeks ago my father had really bad fall whilst cycling.
He Broke is C3 vertebra and was left tetraplegic and in respiratory distress.
unfortunately there was little that could be done as the damage was too great.
He was conscious the whole time but could not communicate with us as he needed respiratory assistance.
He loved life, Rugby, and cycling.
He passed away last thursday at 78.
Tomorrow he will depart for good :(.
I will miss him.

It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

Sorry for your loss.
