You can try
- FB streams: https://fbstream.tv/stream/rugby
- or USA goals (I kid you not) https://www.usagoals.sx/b/rugby-union.html

The former is probably the more reliable but has fewer games and feeds. The latter you need all the usual blockers for and can be unreliable when there is high demand.

Tichtheid wrote: Sat Jan 29, 2022 10:12 pm Russell kicked very well, his remit was obviously to keep Toulouse very deep and that was what he did.

and Racing won
If you mean he kicked deeper than Ntamack, you are right. He won that battler every time: hence my comment on Ntamack's poor (again) game management. F**k knows why 2 sides who never play that way decided to do that last night but it was a sh*t watch.

Russell also blew a try when he was caught and hauled back short of the line by Dupont.

{EDIT} Doussy (Racing skills coach) has said they no longer had the luxury of playing how they like but had to play how they thought they could win. So they decided kicking deep and beating ST at the breakdown was the best tactic. So you are correct Tichtheid.

Listening to Radio France Auvergne in the meantime. Hoping Clermont get their acts together and bring back 4 points from Pau.

Nope didn’t even get 1. Pau played very well, mainly in the second half. Clermont isn’t playing as a team anymore, a bit like the SF or Toulon.

It is a heart breaker. Clermont this year are decisively average.

It is a long transition for the club....

Said earlier in the season, some hard questions should be asked at ASM. How does a side full on intl players (regardless if some are ageing) get to look like a bunch of journeymen? How slow is Jedrasiak now for example? Only Penaud has managed to stay afloat and that's because he is a natural: a freak. Whole place needs a clear out from players to staff. ASM's discipline was pathetic too.

Pau played the best offloading rugby I think I've ever seen from them.

They have, but just now. Strong focus on youths. The loss in the number of French internationals has also caused a major reduction in the salary cap, forcing them to adapt.

His accomplice is named Mohammed Salah

The guy must be wondering whether, if he had been the soccer player, he would have had a suspended sentence too.

So no more controversy about who should be the FH. Jalibert still injured and out for the next game.
They called Leo Berdeu, I really don’t know him, is he better than Hastoy?
Also Priso, strange call, last time I saw him was against SF and they took him out at the 50’ as he couldn’t hold the scrum.

Villiere out and suddenly we realize that we do not have so much depth on the wings.

Will Danty pair with Moefana while Fickou moves to the wing again?

I expect a carpet bombing of Jaminet's backyard, now that this weakness has been identified. Let's see whether he rises to the occasion.

Unless Dulin comes back at 15 and Jaminet moves to the wing?

In the meantime, Toulouse struggling in Pau... but a red card may save their day.

Toulouse were being hammered by 14 men Pau. Took another dim piece of thuggery resulting in a 2nd red to get them back into the game. And they still lost! Is it me, or PI players still susceptible to more acts of foul play than other nations?

Bookies and Bernol had ST to win this one. After 6 losses on the bounce

They will probably move Fickou to wing but that's a mistake. Should simply bring Thomas back in. Regardless of whether Jaminet copes badly or not under the high ball, what other option is there? Dulin reverted to being sh*t at that too at the start of this season.

Harmstring injury during training with French squad.

On another note, Jordan Joseph is doing quite well with Pau. Finally, it looks like he may have started to work rather than just rely on his exceptional potential. And... surprise surprise, he is called in the group preparing the Scotland game.

Azagoh also called.

Oh. Thanks.

Yes, Joseph had a great game. Esp after his PI colleagues decided they only wanted to play half a game. Had reservations about him because he was a freak in size at U20 and seemed a bit lazy = much harder to succeed at pro level. Unlike Macalou, for example, where it's pure athleticism. Hope he continues to put the work in because having a traditional, heavyweight 8 as an option is handy. The other one who worried me similarly is Bamba. Both need to understand that you can't succeed without the work rate.

Bamba needs to learn how to scrummage. And become disciplined. I am very disappointed too by his lack of progress. A shame, he is a freak.

Joseph, like a lot of kids who have it easy when they are young because they are freak and can break through defenses without putting much effort, discovered what it means to play rugby only when confronted with pros. Hope he has the will to succeed.

Joseph was spoiled at Racing there was no game time for him there he should have stayed at Massy at least one more year at least there he would have had some game time

PS watch Massy get pillaged again in the summer.

Yes. It's sounds like a cliche but it's a way out of the ghetto but it's a short path if you think you can do no work when the game is rugby.

Anyone thinking Berdeu is intl material....... missed 2 easy kicks and then committed a Poitrenaud to hand game to ASM which they should have lost.

Hopefully he can be more disciplined that their Fijian centres!

Note, it's not a move but a "joker" i.e. temporary cover for injuries.

I'd have to try and find the contact terms (lengths remaining) for Manu and Vatubua (as well as Tuimaba and Ipfekan (sp?) on the wings). On the face of it, a permie would reduce the wage bill but Pau would not buy out contracts before they expire.
