Fairly easy for Gloucester, doesnt hurt that the Newcastle 9 is utter gash. Radwan scored a good try.. take note Eddie.

Good try from rees-zammit as well. 12trees with some key passes in a couple of the tries.

Newcastle are fucking terrible, with the exception of Radwan they are all very very ordinary.

They were playing pretty well at the start of the season iirc, but have really dropped off

Teams for the Wasps - Sarries game.

Image

Saracens unavailable: Adams-Hale, Pifeleti, George, Riccioni, Itoje, Isiekwe, Wray, Farrell, Daly, Malins, Morris, Taylor

Image

Wasps Unavailable: Alfie Barbeary, Ali Crossdale, Dan Frost, Ben Harris, Francois Hougaard, Zach Kibirige, Ryan Mills, Matteo Minozzi, Will Porter, Will Simonds, Jacob Umaga, Jack Willis, Tom Willis, Thomas Young.

It's so big to have Launchbury back. Shields has done admirably in his absence as captain, but he's not quite the same class of player and we definitely struggle without Joe.

For once I'm not dreading this game. I don't know if we can win given our current form, but it doesn't feel like a foregone conclusion as it has so many times in the past.

Wasps have a big advantage at 9. Be good to see how Rotimi does against Bassett who I rate very highly.

I like the Sarries backrow combination, that's got real balance. McFarland is a very skillful player, not really a traditional 6 at all, more like a 7/8 combination.

So all this hoohah about ITV showing one Prem match free to air each weekend
It's the same match as showing on BT Sport so still only one match being shown in all today
So just Sale v Tigers and no Wasps v Saracens

The Premiership is being scandalously mismanaged. The marketing is virtually non-existent. The premiership would be perfect for a series similar to 'Drive to Survive' in F1. So much content, back stories, friction, conflict, camaraderie, elation, deflation and just great story lines. Who is selling the Premiership?

Could have a field day against ours. A lock on the blindside and a hooker on the open :| . In the space of a couple of weeks it's gone from being an area of strength to one of concern. Conversely the tight 5 has gone from being a liability to a potential strength.

The gods had seen that our injury list had dropped below 15, so have apparently sent some lightning down or something, since our starting loosehead is apparently getting stretchered off from the warm up.

Bugger. Been impressed with Martinez in the little game time he's had.

Spink has been impressing me so far in the season, and he's not let me down there. Some big hits in defence too.

He's another whose availability has fluctuated, but when available he's definitely acquitted himself well.

Even if you disagree arguing that decision to the point of being penalised in front of your posts is dull. Surprising miss for Gopperth.

Thank you Dickson for playing that as it's supposed to be played. Nice to see a law being enforced. West managed to hold Koch for a while, but Koch got the better of him in the end though.

porters try for Tigers is very funny. A couple of very weak tackle attempts.

Bath are in no rush to bring back Sam Underhill after the England flanker suffered his fourth concussion in two months against Leinster last weekend.

Bath boss Stuart Hooper has now confirmed that Underhill won’t be returning anytime soon and also revealed the back-rower will be meeting with a specialist this week.

“Repeated concussions mean professional advice must be taken” said Hooper.

So he'd had 3 in even less time and they'd not done that? I thought 3 meant a cooldown period was needed?

Thought a Sarries player was allowed to blatantly crawl in the build up to the try. Something most refs have been pretty hot on this season.

An odd thing, but I love that Tom West has such a block for a body, but perfectly average arms.

I only caught the last 10 minutes that half. Wasps looked lucky not to get a YC at the end of the half there. One of those that if Saracens hadn't scored then it likely would have been.

Just seen the replay of Alex Goode creating the first Saracens try - I don't care what the haters say, he's one of the most skillful backs England has had in the last decade. Such a smart player too. Criminally undercapped.

After that glowing write up it seems pretty appropriate that his first act in the second half is a knock on under the high ball.

Edit - and a third knock on.

It was only the 2nd maul offence pen. Dickson said the warning was coming in.

That's a big turnover from Odogwu following a try saver from Robson.
