Fascinating.
There is a tool or product for every little job. Some serious money invested in that workshop.

I watched that a couple of years ago.... it's very satisfying,

There's a few tooltime type channels I watch, woodturners can be great to watch and I'm interested in the whole epoxy casting / turning thing as well.
For a laugh and casual metal skills, Bello's Customs is a car channel that's a bit different. He's just a dude who breaks out in little dance moves every now and then and gets off on metal working custom cars.

Continuing in the musical vein...

More ingenuity and improv than craftsmanship, but a great story.

Different kind of Craftsman (Arts & Crafts). Podcaster / actor Matt Gourley's and wife Amanda Lund's place. Yes, he's a massive Bond fan and had that door made (if not by himself, pretty sure he's done much of the refurb) to look like M's.

I've seen that turntable video too, I spend far too much time watching vids of restoration of old tools and machines as well as woodworking etc, this thread is right up my street. I'll try not to bombard it.

This is a very satisfying watch, though it could have had longer shots of the finished teapot

Imagine all the great, fun nights out and meals after going out, seeing a live orchestra, you could have for 13 grand.

Stupid paying that for a record player or hifi system.

Live your life.

If you can afford to spend £13k on a record deck, you can afford to do all those other things as well.

That's the sort of thing, yeah.

His restoration of an old Record vice is good.

👍👍. The vice was excellent. Last year he did an old grease gun, simple and very satisfying.

Great to see a craftsman at work but no idea how that might translate to sound though. Ikeda 345 and the Audionote... The buyer likes his Japanese ephemera.

I have made a few acoustic guitars as a hobbyist and I have a couple of friends who are full time professional luthiers.

This is a relaxing watch
