I thought the Kriel brothers cant tour. Apparently their father wont let them get vaccinated because the family suffers from a hereditary blood clotting disease.

Its a team full of leaders......

Marius Louw and Phepsi have also led a side for the Sharks.
We look a bit light on loose forwards on the bench. Notsche gets the nod.....very happy if he is getting into some form again.

Its a great team. Lets see what they can do.
They know what is required....at least a 20 point winning margin with a bonus point.
Anything less and they may lose 2nd spot.

I'll be disappointed if we lose this. The Sharks haven't clicked yet this season. With Bosch at no.10 they may never do so. Early days for the team though.

I would hate to be Bosch. The kid works on his issues and has shown dramatic improvement yet everyone loves to hate him. Mainly because he was red hot before Covid. Claiming so many MOTMs it wasn't funny. Yet the Sharks are winning with him. As much as we all almost came when Boeta got his shot...and then dramatically
fell apart. His kicking game went to shit. We lost a lot of games that we should have won. And then " the Tit "...what a F%#@ up. What the hell did they see in him. Look at the market....there is nothing locally. Vokol. Nothing abroad South African either. So what do we do. Support what we have and instead of breaking him down we should build him up.

Ravenhill on a Friday night is a very tough ask for any side in the URC.

Ja well we need a good win. That's it. I am so sick of the criticism the Sharks get for the financial muscle locally. It's time to get over the jealousy and pettiness and perform. I see SA Rugby magazine have the Sharks and Bulls down for a loss and a win for the Lions and a convincing win for the Stormers. I will take those odds. Coming from Mark that is.

Any news on the weather for the Saffer games

Think of the positives !

If you can't play in the wet, you'll never go anywhere in the URC; & your players will never win anything in Internationals in the NH !

One of the things Pat Lam brought to Connacht was the belief that the players didn't just have to hoof the ball back at the opposition when it was wet/windy; but that they had the handling skills to play the ball out of their own half, even in the worst conditions.

Friday will just be another tutorial for Saffa teams, on how to succeed n the URC.

I can't see the Sharks winning. Especially after another break in games. It's been so difficult to get any momentum with the schedule.

We definitely haven't clicked yet this season. But to be playing badly and be 3rd in the final round of our first season in URC is very promising if you ask me, especially with the coach and players coming into the squad in the coming months.

I think the SA sides will get used to travelling north for games and perform better as a result. The reverse is also true, whilst the Pro 14 teams had games against the Cheetahs and Kings, perhaps they weren't quite as intimidating as playing the big four and familiarity will help the northern sides when playing away.

I’ve watched plenty of bad ones over the years but this must be the worst Welsh regional performance I’ve had the misfortune to see.
