You would be so lucky to pay an average price of R300 for the All Black games. The Wales games are around the R350 average i think, might be higher. The All black tests are more in the R1500 - R1800 average price. At least in Ellis ParkFalseBayFC wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 10:54 am Full crowds back on in SA with 50% attendance limits to be dropped? Would be a nice little financial boost if it in time for Wales tour and RC.
Six home tests with say 20 000 extra bums on seats per game. Average ticket price - R300. Extra revenue R36 million.

It will be Springbok history if the 35 year old Fourie makes his debut.
Alwyn Jones got his 150th test on that age.
Apologies. I just can't get at all interested in this tour whatsoever.OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 4:51 pmsorry I mention it.C69 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 4:34 pmWho really gives a shit?OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 4:25 pm Nienaber talking about Kwagga and Fourie to play from the bom squad against Wales.

Maybe we are all exciting because after winning the WC we haven't got a real home test because of Corvid. Just to play a test is a bit of a privilege for our lot.

So the game on Saturday is now close to being sold out. All the sections still available show as nearly sold out or less than 20 tickets available. Going to be great to be in a packed stadium again.

Yes that's pretty steep for the AB games. Sheesh!bok_viking wrote: ↑Sat Jun 25, 2022 3:33 pmYou would be so lucky to pay an average price of R300 for the All Black games. Yeah the period from the 2015 WC was quite bad for bok attendances. The year leading up to 2019 WC and the WC itself made people enjoy the Boks again. Unfortunately Covid did not allow us to really enjoy games after the WC, so its great to see crowds starting to enjoy getting back to the stadiums.
Started all with the URC towards the end where you saw more and more people getting back to the stadiums.

Elstadt will replace himbok_viking wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 12:27 pmHopefully that opens the way for one of Roos or Louw to get into the game, even if from the bench. Maybe Marcel will get a shot.

Yep. If they're going with Fourie and Kwagga then they have to choose another lineout target. Roos or Louw are far down the pecking order still. Maybe some game time in match 3 if its a dead rubber.OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 12:44 pmElstadt will replace himbok_viking wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 12:27 pmHopefully that opens the way for one of Roos or Louw to get into the game, even if from the bench. Roos definitely the most likely of the two, I think Louw gas lost some ground to him.bok_viking wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 12:27 pmHopefully that opens the way for one of Roos or Louw to get into the game, even if from the bench. Maybe Marcel will get a shot.

Most of that can almost be expected, but Willemse on 15 and Mostert at 7 is the more question mark choices for me. I guess Willemse might move to 10 if Willie comes on, or will Willie gets a run at 10? Not sure why Willemse would otherwise be picked over Fassie/Galant/GansChilli wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 11:01 am Springbok team:

So the team for the 2nd test might look a bit different for some positions when other players have been in the camp for a bit longer.
At least Louw is going to get a chance.

They moved a bit towards a lineout game plan during the Lions Tests. Having 4 locks on the field all at once makes it very difficult for opposition in the line out. Expecting a lot of maul tries.

Lot of surprises in the Bok team. Good to see some new faces in the match 23. Hope they play well.
If Wales are going to win a test match against us, the first test will be their best chance.
I'm a bit worried about Willemse at 15. Recent games against Wales have not been pretty affairs, so our kicking and catching game is going to have to be on point. I also have no idea what form Elton is bringing into this match, he's up against Biggar who I rate highly.
The forward pack looks incredibly strong, including the bench. Great to see a $harks lock back in the Bok team, it's been a while since that last happened.

I think he might be wrong about Wales too. I reckon they'll be stiffer opposition than what they where in the soon to be 7 Nations. They had some time to reflect and work on their crapness.
Same with Ireland in NZ. That one is shaping as a 5-0 backwash.......

That Wales back three + George North is serious business
About as good as it could be. Lydiate starting ahead of Navidi is odd. I’m sure he tries his best but if Dillon Lewis is our best available THP we’re in trouble. And if AWJ is there for anything it’s for his experience, in which case shouldn’t he be starting?OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Thu Jun 30, 2022 11:26 am Wales: 15 Liam Williams, 14 Louis Rees-Zammit, 13 George North, 12 Nick Tompkins, 11 Josh Adams, 10 Dan Biggar (captain), 9 Kieran Hardy, 8 Taulupe Faletau, 7 Tommy Reffell, 6 Dan Lydiate, 5 Adam Beard, 4 Will Rowlands, 3 Dillon Lewis, 2 Ryan Elias, 1 Gareth Thomas.
