Rugby is a shit sport.
If you think winning by 3 (basically the margin of refereeing error) points is "justice" you are a massive cock.

Lol. I watch but prefer not to be a cock, reading in to a 3 point margin of victory, at home as anything other than just arse candle.PCPhil wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 6:40 pmDon’t watch then.Line6 HXFX wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 6:37 pm Rugby is a shit sport.

Huh, wtf are you on about? You're the lorry driver mastermind aren't you? Never wrong, always says it as he sees it, always talks pish. A national embarrassment ... and in your own vernacular, a cunt.clive wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 6:26 pmChrist Almighty you must be the most=boring cunt on here, I bet you spend most of your time wanking over driving mauls and shit refs.Wyndham Upalot wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 6:20 pmThe same one that you were, disappointed as fuck of course, but not to the rabid unfair conclusion that you've decided upon. 3 points, 30 points, the W in the win column is worth exactly the sameLine6 HXFX wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 6:43 pmLol. Erm, history of fuck ups? nah he's actually one of the best refs. This is how teams like Georgia have been judged for decades. Ruthlessly and by the book. The T1 always get lenient calls. Ofc Georgian ref wouldn't have T1 bias so no stupid leniency to "keep the game entertaining"clive wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 6:19 pmDon't mind losing but fuck me, some of the calls, and this ref has history of major fuck ups.Wyndham Upalot wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 6:14 pmDude, we lost to a better team on their home turf, good contest considering our recent form. I'm mildly content, you should be too.
That's how things should be. T1 should also get called on their fouls the same way T2 does. If they earn five yellows, give five yellows.

Jeez. Give the guy a break, he had to overcome his social anxiety to go to the pub to be able to watch it live and then deal with that implosion as well...

Bizarrely this may be a good thing for the Boks, 3 reasons
1. Boks will know that they can't just turn up and win
2. In the past few years, the Boks have had a habit of losing these tight, one score games. Hopefully this will break the habit.
3. Elton will never ever play for the Boks again.

Social anxiety is a real condition.
I managed to overcome it.
Cheers.

Load shedding...who knows.
France would fancy their odds for sure.
Honestly . The Springbok team has not evolved. It will eventually run out of steam unless Rassie makes bolder selections and gives equal opportunities to players. Kolisi really is still on Siesta

I reckon the ref is getting a slide from some folks on here - probabpy due to being a T2 novelty assignment. There was real niggle and spite out there that he should've gotten on top of early on but he didn't and carried on the whole 80. Few instances that should've been referred to the tmo that wasn't and his communication wasn't the best at times.
As soon as he kicked I knew Wales would lose. That was beyond dumbTorquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 5:12 pm Biggar you f**king moron. Also, why kick away with only 20 secs left on the clock? Retards.

Credit to Wales. They played very well. Positives for the Springboks is that Elton Jantjies won't play again. We don't have flankers in the first half. Damian Willemse made the stepup today.
I expect the struggle today, test 2 will only be better.

So say the silver lining out of this match is that we are finally rid of Elton Jantjies…who the fuck do we replace him with?
Willemse had a good outing, but I think he has proven many times now he is a not a 10. 12 is his best position, 15 second best and then 10. Our flyhalf cupboard is very fuck bare. We have Pollard, then Elton, then a bunch of very talented, very flakey prospective future players but nobody that really stands out. Libbok had a great URC, but can bet just as erratic as Elton. Rob Du Preez has also been playing 12 at Sale so not really a candidate. We are fucked until we have 3 decent 10s in the pipeline.
And then there is Faf…JCF, he can be glad that Reinach is injured. And here I thought Herchel Jantjies was out of form…That has to be the single worst performance I’ve ever seen from Faf. Just awful.

Quite. Boks lucky to win, Biggar tried just too hard.
Glad they came thru, the utter incompatibility/lack of BMT in the first 15 showed up some players. Janties.... ugh !

Maybe some Welsh players need to take long hard looks in the mirror for some dreadful discipline.
Any chance that you could make your point without being so aggressive?

Highly doubtful, the bloke is a grade A cretin.
Nah. He was good. Couldn't give a shit what nationality he is, it's not like we have any respect for T1 refs.dabooldawg wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 7:03 pm I reckon the ref is getting a slide from some folks on here - probabpy due to being a T2 novelty assignment. Match went as I expected, very tough and a tight Springbok win. Faf and Elton were poor. Pack put in a strong performance, Lood de Jager was excellent, backrow was good but not great. Took awhile to break Wales down, but the pack eventually managed it.
This is what Bok v Wales matches are now. This is the Springbok way, when a weakness is found in an opponent they will just keep exploiting it over and over again, doing nothing new. They've identified the main Welsh weakness is maul defence from the lineout, and that most times it's better to kick than run against their defence.
Before the RWC semi, the Boks had lost 4 in a row against Wales. It's 3 Bok wins in a row now. The Boks will use the same template again next week, and if it's not nullified the same again the week after. Until it doesn't work. Pointless to expect the Boks to be the All Blacks, different beast entirely. If narrow and ugly is the best chance of a win, then that's what they'll bring.

Ja that match did have a sense of familiarity about it. We've become so used to being behind at half-time, but I still felt we had it in us to turn it around (especially when Elton went off).
About Elton, that must be the end of his career. But I feel sorry for him, there was a period he was playing better than Pollard. But I also read somewhere he's only played 68 minutes of rugby this year, if true then it's ludicrous we even picked him.
I was really impressed with Willemse, that took some serious balls at the end. But he's still not a 10! His distribution skills are basically zero; if he's going to attack the line he's got to vary his game.
Thank the lord Willie came on, and I think he proved a massive point yesterday.
Eben was fantastic too. He really has brought an intelligence to his game that goes beyond his biceps.
Hard luck Wales, I wouldn't have complained if you managed to steal it at the end. I'm a big fan of Biggar, but he really needs to get his head on when dealing with the ref and keeping his cool.

Nah. She's classic there to make up someone's idea of quota but like Gabby Yorath and Zoe Ball, in there because of family connections. And yes, her appearance (chosen by her) was of something you'd find lying drunk in the gutter of Wind Street on a Saturday night.
