Feel free to show me the post about skin colour.
None was mentioned.
I am no longer prepared to interact with you. I have made my position clear.
Good agreed then that no one posted about her skin colour.
I think this post said it best

"Hence packed off on the banana boat is black people going back to where they came from.

The defence of ‘oh but that’s a different group of not white people’ is specious, dishonest and quite frankly is the defence of a racist."

I can't see any other explanation than you are a racist. Others may be willing to interact with you, but I will no longer.

He does it all the time, lobs in a known racist trope, watches the shitfight develop then claims it couldn’t possibly be racist because his background is terribly diverse.

The banana boat thing is a well known racist trope. If you don’t know that you’re either very, very sheltered or deliberately playing dumb.
Count me very sheltered, could you elaborate?
Banana boats were fast ships used to ship bananas from the West Indies to the UK. The term was popularised in the UK in The Banana Boat song sung by Harry Belafonte in the 50s. The term fell into popular use as “came on the banana boat” being a way to describe immigrants who had come from the West Indies, I.e. Afro Caribbeans.
Ta, that's completely new info for me.

I probably didn't explain very well there and maybe I can't because there isn't one, but there's a lot of stuff out there about the specificity of racism. If someone called a non - Central or South American a wetback, it's a little off, but I wouldn't immediately think racist because there's not that same terminological association.

You know full well what it means as you just explained the meaning in the post above.

You are basically saying that it is OK to be racist if you are left wing.
In my head any connection between black and banana is the sorry history of likening black people to monkeys, Biffers info was a completely new angle.

None of this opportunity to deflect changes that Patel's policy is to deny many families in the same situation as the Patels, or indeed a Mo Farah, a right to remain. Anyone in the same situation as the Zahawi family would likely be fine as they had money.

But, it isn't remotely new thinking people want to pull up the drawbridge once they've arrived

With an STV to all Tory MPs, they could cut out two weeks of fucking around, & reduce this circus of deeply unfunny clowns, into two shit clowns.

.... but at least in those two weeks we get to see them tearing each other apart

Voted remain and for trans rights, this may be a tad too liberal elite for many Shire voters.

It's going to be a get Sunak campaign and I suspect the Tories will have many skeletons in many closets.
Lets see what happens with the blue on blue carnage.

Sunak the UNDECLARED US citizen, former chancellor of the exchequer who's billionaire wife wasn't paying her taxes? Boris is as bent as they come, but the wallpaper doesn't come close to the financial stuff Sunak seems to have got upto.
and I expect he'll be hearing from the IRS sometime soon too.

What I am really interested in is how he has any financial affairs at all in the UK. If he's a US citizen, he'd struggle to even get a bank account if he declared he was a US Citizen. Unless, of course, he lied on all his financial applications. And he'd the first Tory to have done so. NOTTTTTTTTT
I imagine he filed his W-2's every year, or he would have had his Green Card taken away, long before he got a chance to return it.

He & his wife are sufficiently wealthy anyway, that he has plenty of legal ways to get US Citizenship, it just may cost them some petty cash.
Would be interested to see if he ever filled in a W8-BEN.

She needs to read the riot act to the Civil Service Blob and put the ECHR back in its box.
She's fortunate the UK was a far more tolerant place for immigrants when her parents arrived. If it were under her ideal regime, they'd have been packed back off on their banana boat to East Africa.
A kinder gentler politics.

What relevance is the colour of her skin? Why raise it as an issue? Are people whose skin isn't white only allowed to hold pre approved political positions?
You've missed every relevant point.
a) She is one attempting to introduce hardline conditions which would, if in existence in the 70s, have prevented her from benefiting in precisely the same manner she is essaying to deny others.
b) Where is the colour of her skin mentioned, or indeed relevant to the point in the post? The only relevance in this context is the term "immigrant".
c) Errrr no. See my previous post. And then answer it.

Show me where her skin colour was mentioned.
If you are being genuine that you cannot understand the meaning of "when her parents arrived. If it were under her ideal regime, they'd have been packed back off on their banana boat to East Africa"" then you really have been leading a sheltered life.
I can see what you're driving at, but Patel and her family aren't African. They're Bangladeshis who moved to Uganda before coming to the UK, so the banana/black racist connection doesn't really apply.

Besides which banana boat would more likely be a reference to the craft deeply unsuitable for sea crossing, including many inflatables, that lots of migrants use in their attempts to cross the Mediterannean. The sort Patel would quite happily turn around and point back from whence they came.

All of this bar the spelling of Mediterranean.

This should immediately disbar him from the ballot!!
Zahawi said he would be willing to offer Boris Johnson a cabinet job. Asked about this on LBC, he said:
Boris Johnson is a friend of mine of 30 years. If he wishes to serve in cabinet, I would certainly offer him a job.

That's so revealing of who they are and why they don't belong in positions of responsibility.
