Apart from when he high tackled Adams and the ref missed it.
Near the line in the last 10 mins.

How did Willemse go? He got options now, 15/12 even wing.Did better then anyone getting possession back from our high kick balls, defend like a demon, putting players in space, taking it up. He played himself to a standstill.
thought he was great. That one kick and chase in the first half... like a madman 😄

It's that shite 6/2 split. After Kolbey got injured it dismantle our backline. Then he didn't use elrich louw who can cover 6/7/8 while Arendse can cover wing/15.

After watching the Irishand England test I thought Mapimpi was lucky not to get carded when he ran into the defender and his heads clash. Think it's a stupid rule but they are strict on it nowadays.

The ref was OK.

Wales will be much stronger if they go back to their running gameplan they had a few years back. There are a lot of experience in that team and they have a good coach.

1 min later in the same phase of play, Mapimpi was then penalised for a high on Wales 12 :wtf:

They can't. They've lost too much pace. The likes of North, Sanjay, Jiffy jr have all lost their speed and are borderline carthorses. Adams is not desperately quick either for a wing. It's only LRZ who is lightning... which is why I suspect he scores so many opportunist/solo tries i.e. when he makes breaks, he has no-one in his side who can keep pace with him and so, unless he finishes it, the move is slowed or stopped.

No not that like that at all it was high and iirc head contact in the red zone.
It matters not, the best team won.

I was amazed to see in the stats in the Sunday Times that Wales had a 100% success rate in the scrums. Then I read they’d conceded several penalties. So I guess if a scrum is called and a penalty is given before the ball goes in then statistically it never took place. Makes sense, I just thought for a moment that our dodgy THPs had performed brilliantly.

100% scrum have nothing to do with shite scrums or penalties. It's losing the ball to your opposition on your own put in.

Oh right, according to the stats in the ST SA lost 40% of their scrums. Perhaps they’ve got them the wrong way around.

The Bok scrum was average imo in this series. Nyakane battled and should be discarded at this point. I'm also not a big fan of the bomb squad idea. I'd rather see a Kitshoff,Marx, Malherbe start. Koch, Mbonambi and Os/Thomas to come on as replacements. The ABs and Wallabies have got fairly decent front rows and did well against the Irish and Poms. We've become addicted and over reliant on scrum penalties. That puts fate in the hands of the officiators. Put the oppo on the back foot from the start. I don't believe in this idea of trying to win or close it out in the final quarter.

Ended up with their 4th best scrummaging tight head prop as starter and a virtual semi pro pup who had only started 1 pro game before the tests. Thats just the props, we were scraping the barrell in the back row and centres. We had to play with half our second to 4th string players held together with bandages
Imagine if we were at full strength...

Whats with Jasper at 8? He was pants and rightly substituted after 35 min or so. I still dont get his continued selection. Kwagga was a massive improvement, not only because of his ground game. And I am no fan of his either at 7 or 8.

The starting pack lack a baljagter. Kwagga was outstanding when he entered. He lifted PSdT and Kolisi.
