Find two very large and frightening men. Pay them £100+ each, return to pub and find trader.

Microwave on high for 2 minutes (1100W) or 3 minutes (800W). It resets the chip. You might want to stand back.

If it’s stolen and was switched off, If you turned it on, your location will be visible to the previous owner. Via find my iPhone.

Hand it in to police (before someone comes knocking on your door), to ask the police if it was stolen. If it’s not you’ll get it back.

Doesn’t help with the unlocking part though. Think it’s probably impossible unless you’re the NSA.

Or are you talking about locked to a network, if so you can contact that network and pay to get it unlocked.

There's what, a 95% chance you've just paid for a nicked phone?

Assume you’re basing that on the background when it prompts you for pin.

More likely nicked from a SA living in UK.

Anyway I’d be careful else you’re liable for handling stolen goods. And you’re locatable.

Choose whether to ignore or not, up to you.

Lick it. Is there a subtle heat that makes your tongue tingle?
