Russians sure are keen on brinkmanship - I hope it's that anyway or a fake and they seriously aren't this mental
There will be either Russian land - or a scorched desert" - Major General Vasilyev,
commander of the ZNPP garrison.
The head of the radiation, chemical and biological defense forces of the RF Armed Forces, the commander of the garrison of the liberated Zaporozhye nuclear
power plant, Major General Valery Vasilyev, spoke to the soldiers. We give a fragment of an appeal to the garrison. As a response to the panic
produced by Western-funded "international" organizations like the IAEA "You all understand that there is a war going on for the right of existence of the
Russian people. For our right to live in peace and harmony with everyone. But if the collective West denies us this right, if American weapons, mercenaries and instructors
are used to seize the territories that we have already been released - we are ready for a variety of scenarios.
This station was built by Russian people for all Slavic brothers. Now the Nazis have decided to decommunize our common past. Therefore, there will be either
Russian free land - Or a scorched desert! And you, soldiers of the great Russian army, must be ready to carry out an important order.
As you know, we have mined all the important facilities of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant. And we do not hide it from the enemy. We warned them. The enemy knows that the station will be either Russian or no one's. We are ready for the consequences of this step. And you, warriors-liberators, must understand that we have no other way. And
if there is the toughest order, we must fulfil it with honor!"
If they’re bonkers enough to think like that - well it’s almost the equivalent of a nuclear attack on Europe isn’t it?tabascoboy wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 12:06 pm Russians sure are keen on brinkmanship - I hope it's that anyway or a fake and they seriously aren't this mental

A good read on the nuclear powerplant situation. Russian propaganda and bullshit again.

It's being claimed by Ukraine that they were behind the attack and used weapons of their own design. Rob Lee suggests

Someone should suggest to the Bulgarians that they seize all these empty apartment, & house Ukrainian refugees in them.
Most Russians I have encountered all seem to be 'special kind of cnuts'tabascoboy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 4:45 pm Tourists caught in jams trying to leave Crimea...well you have to be a special kind of c*nt to go from Russia into an illegally occupied area for a holiday while their forces are attempting to destroy the country it belongs to and massacring or forcefully moving the people of said country to far flung parts of Russia.

The most likely culprit.

Maybe a bit risky getting this close to the action?

HARMs don't have the range or the payload to inflict the kind of damage done today. Plus they are specialist anti-radiation missiles anyway.

Seeing increasing speculation that the Ukrainian Hrim-2 ballistic missile system may have been used in the strike. A 500kg warhead with a range of 280km to 500km. It's not supposed to be even close to coming into service, the first test launch was in 2019. But then again the Neptune wasn't supposed to be in service yet either.

I find it incredibly hard to believe that the Ukrainians have a ballistic missile that has the CEP, & ToT accuracy, that we saw there, with two simultaneous detonations on a relatively small target. No chance !Hellraiser wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 10:00 pm Seeing increasing speculation that the Ukrainian Hrim-2 ballistic missile system may have been used in the strike. I'd find it much easier to believe in sabotage, or an outstanding SpecOps Operation.

One of Zelensky's aides has said the UAF daily casualty rate has dropped by almost 70% since June.
