I can't find anything from google on the situation Lavanini found himself in. He committed a yellow card offence, no question, he didn't retreat ten or to his own line before making the tackle, but since it was after the knock on and wasn't dirty or violent, I thought the card should have been overturned.

I didn’t actually see it myself, but anyone defending Lavinini is on the wrong side of history.

Pretty sure a yellow card (foul play) infringement reverses a knock on. Whistle not blown at that point.

The player's identity is not the point.

The ABs knocked on, so everything after that is played under advantage to Argentina. The ABs scored, so that was chalked off.
What I'm wondering is why the card wasn't reversed because if the ref had seen the knock on before the Argentinian player made the tackle, he would have stopped the game and gone back to the penalty advantage he was playing.

The tackle wasn't dangerous in any way.

Very happy with the backline. Doing their job. Willemse not too bad. A lot of rookie mistakes but can work on it. Moodie. You beaut. Hendricks has just blossomed . How the hell did we waste so many years on Junkies.
Wiese and Marx on fire. Nice mobility and attacking the rucks . Our scrum and mauling is shit. I think these props get too much credit coming on later after the opposition is already tired. But Ginger has carried well.

Jasper Wiese has really impressed this season.
I was super critical of him last year, but he has really matured into his role within the back 3. Provides great go-forward.

Strong as fuck, but seems incredibly dim. Whats the point of fighting to get over the goal line when it is clear as day you are going to be held up? Given the new laws and goal line drop-out, it's just a waste of effort and possession.
