Boet as bad as Sandpaper was and it was, pales into insignificance when compared to what your revered Hansie was getting up too......
At least the Aussies were trying to win for their country, Hansie on the other hand

Hankie like the sand paper lot isn't in the weak pool of players.
I would be very surprised if Hansie made an appearance during the tourney.OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 12:19 pm Hankie like the sand paper lot isn't in the weak pool of players.
There is a Netflix doco addressing the Hansie Cronje debacle currently airing on Netflix called 'Fallen Idol'. Could be worth a look Oom......

A lot of guys were caught up in that nonsense. Shane Warne and Steve Waugh and John the Bookmaker. Not throwing games but were probably close to being hooked into a real downward spiral. I reckon Warnie would have been particularly vulnerable because of his addictive personality. He was lucky he was caught when he was. Scared him badly.Deepsouth wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 12:29 amYes well that was my point Oom, people in glass houses and all that.........OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 2:17 pm Nah I suffer enough with Hansie. Exactly. The Aussies were much wiser to back each other and got away.FalseBayFC wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 6:25 amA lot of guys were caught up in that nonsense. The Hansie saga however made me lost faith on cricket for a long time.
Even Jonty Rhodes seem to be a little vokkertjie.

Then made a duck in his next innings. He's very erratic, but he's still young.
