Owen Williams still makes the extra metres kicking from hand. That extra 5m or so makes a difference.

Even though I sat through it, I could not fathom how rugby cancer Montpellier won the T14 last season and this simply raises the question again.

Yes. And coached by the biggest spoofer in French rugby. Would be hilarious if the ***ts went out here at the 1st stage.

Meantime, Racing seem to have elected to start a B-ish team against Quins tomorrow whilst leaving their A players on the bench. :eh:

Thank goodness for Dragons, eh? I don't want to know what happens if all 4 win a match in the same round.

A minute and a half, 60 metres, and more than ten phases. Absolutely insane stuff.
The real sad tosser.
Is there any chance you'll stop being a monumental cunt any time soon? You're genuinely insufferable at the moment. No, pointing out how bizarre it was that they chalked off a try thanks to a minor offence >10 phases earlier isn't being a sad tosser, it's remarking on something out of the ordinary.

Fuck, you're so painful to deal with.

I didn't see it live, but I'm catching up with the Edinburgh v Castres game.

I read that Castres conceded 23 penalties but just one yellow card. I'm nearing half time and the ref has just managed to bin the wrong player for collapsing the maul as it advanced to the line. It wasn't a tricky decision, it was patently obvious that is was the number 8 who tackled the ball carrier illegally in the maul.

In no way do I condone abuse of referees, but I do see mistakes

Pretty sure teams got through on just one win last year (not bothered to actually look it up), so I'd say about 7 points would do it!

Fucking stupid format

I don't mind it. The Group stage is just to get rid of the deadwood and sort out the pecking order for the next round. And, the fact you can, possibly (but unlikely), get through with a win and some BPs, keeps sides interested even after a couple of losses. The biggest problem is that there's still too many sides that are, basically, bonus point fodder - and the uneven playing field re salary caps - but that's nothing new and I'd be less worried about it if it was English clubs that had that advantage. Don't like having the Saffas in it though.

Based on that, if Ulster somehow get a BP win against Sale at home, and get tanked away to LAR, they could qualify with 1 win from 4 and 7 points, with 3 losses the opposition getting a BP

Laughable.

Didn’t see the game but if it’s the one they wore a couple of weeks ago it’s meant to represent the colours of their regional feeder teams. 70ish?

Let's pretend that comment didn't happen at all...

Who's watching what?

I feel like Toulouse - Sale might be the more competitive contest. Northampton are far too brittle to face down Munster, especially in Europe where the latter always seem to go up a level or two in their play.

Cotter might not be sure in the commentary box, but it looked pretty obvious attempt to prevent Ramos from grounding live.

Pretty much my fear of him at intl level. He has these periodic meltdowns where he goes all Poitrefaux. And if that's in a crucial WC game

Sale are a really physical side and ST not regarded as such in T14 terms but they are beating Sale up here.
