That try is an absolute aberration. Didn't need the angle behind to see his foot was in touch, and the pass to him is a mile forward.

BBC crucifying Barnes for Lowe's non try. Not an evening up I grant because playing with 14 would have been curtains.

Yeah he might as well. The YC card is thievery. And Barnes needs to be stood down over that. When even Carley is gurning at you in disbelief, you know you’ve fcuked up.

Not by choice
I actually believe it is deliberate. They are preparing the RWC and want to vary from the kick and chase that has been their trade mark for the last 3 years.

Herring should have stayed down.
If it is a yellow i just don't get the rules. He even tucks his arm, no attempt to wrap. As clear a red as you will even see.

Really hope we beat them.

It wasn't in touch.

The final pass wanted a look I'll grant. Barnes made mistakes for both sides.

the reverse shot of Lowes try wasn't shown to Barnes I think. Irish producers getting their own back on the French.

Take off the shamrock shades ffs. That was as close to a try as you'll ever see diving for the line.it wasn't the shove you almost always see, and he used both arms.

Moot point - It was a penalty try regardless. No yellow card and Sexton missed the conversion so France got off lightly.

He didn't need the rear angle, the ones he was shown made it abundantly clear that he was in touch.

How is it no one is discussing the fact that Bealams pass to Keenan was forward.

The forward pass came before the 'no arms'.

Something is wrong if there are camera angles available that don't get shown to the officials

Those passes back inside nearly always look forward and are hardly ever given for some reason.

We don't worry about forward passes and ruck entry when Ireland are playing.

Moment of calm reflection: worried about our kicking game. France will be quietly delighted to be so close, having scored only one try and down a man for ten mins rather than fifty-something.

Who gets first score of the half to win this methinks.

Honestly, I wouldn't have been angry at a red. But going by the Koroibete precedent, yellow also makes sense.

FM, much as I think Farrell is not a FH, he actually is some margin better than Ntamack at it. If you are going to hoof the ball away all the time, at least Farrell has length on his kick.
I meant more undroppable, regardless of how poor he plays.
Defo that. The Bernol expert panel after last week commented that Jalibert could do what he liked, he was never getting a starting berth.
