… aaand Manu’s 6N is certainly over before it has begun after an exceptionally bizarre elbow

Yep. Can't believe it's taking so long to decide.
"Forearm with force" is generous. It was an elbow.

Also Dingwall at 12 again and so far going well.Paddington Bear wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 3:00 pm Should be an interesting game at Franklin’s Gardens, Tuilagi, Curry (T), Ford and Quirke all playing as well so plenty of England implications
Looking more like an England 12 than Manu was.sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 3:18 pmAlso Dingwall at 12 again and so far going well.Paddington Bear wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 3:00 pm Should be an interesting game at Franklin’s Gardens, Tuilagi, Curry (T), Ford and Quirke all playing as well so plenty of England implications

In fairness sitting on the sidelines having no impact on play has been a key part of the job description for England centres for a while.Oxbow wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 3:18 pmLooking more like an England 12 than Manu was.sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 3:18 pmAlso Dingwall at 12 again and so far going well.Paddington Bear wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 3:00 pm Should be an interesting game at Franklin’s Gardens, Tuilagi, Curry (T), Ford and Quirke all playing as well so plenty of England implications
Someone’s stuck a rocket up Tom Curry’s arse

Feels a little like damning with faint praise these days, but yes.Oxbow wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 3:18 pmLooking more like an England 12 than Manu was.sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 3:18 pmAlso Dingwall at 12 again and so far going well.Paddington Bear wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 3:00 pm Should be an interesting game at Franklin’s Gardens, Tuilagi, Curry (T), Ford and Quirke all playing as well so plenty of England implications

Tom Curry is absolutely everywhere and Sale seem no worse for having 14 men. Saints need to shape up or this could be a manshaming

Even allowing for Sale's vast collective experience of playing a man down, they shouldn't be causing Saints this much trouble.

That would be great, bur Radwan seems to have gone off the boil completely for some reason.sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 3:32 pmChuck Radwan into the mix for sheer pace and attack focused madness.

Conceding the try bonus point to a 14 man team on the stroke of half time must be a fairly hefty psychological blow.

Northampton’s to lose from here I reckon

Just seen that, it was actually quite nasty intent by the looks of itPaddington Bear wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 3:15 pm … aaand Manu’s 6N is certainly over before it has begun after an exceptionally bizarre elbow

*ahem*
Not that closing the gap is beyond this Saints side, but they don't look like doing it today.

Hard to say, Irish can make anyone look like mugs when their dander's up.

Sale already down to 13 (for the second time in the game!) and they manage to put in two late no arm hits in a row defending that try.
They are incredibly fortunate that Tempest isn't taking them down to at least 12.

Cracking game of rugby.
Hard luck Sale, but in fairness you are a bunch of meatheads with barely a brain cell between you, and in the end it showed.

I thought the 2nd yellow was harsh - considering Sales ahd a try disallowed in similar circumstances - nonetheless, Sale's discipline was what cost them the game. Curry looked in good form - not quite sure where'd he'd fit into the England side atm though.

Pretty straightforward win in the end. Probably left the TBP out there, but will take it given our crap record at the Rec. Pearson was savage again with and without the ball. Ben White made a big impact off the bench after Powell was hooked after 30 mins. Bath team looked really good on paper, but were less than the sum of their parts and the lineout really fell apart.sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 4:49 pmHard to say, Irish can make anyone look like mugs when their dander's up.

Stop the clock! Creaky ol' Mike Brown with a stellar break that leads to Tiger's second try and they're currently beating the clock. 14 - 0 on 13 minutes.
