Genuinely didn't check anything before my predictions and we are almost identical for the second two games.

Trouble is the pressure is getting to me. I actually thought about that rather than a random number generator. I need to hold it together for 2 more rounds to claim the £1,000 first prize.

Wonder if the picks will change if the rumours are true and Smith starts with Farrell to the bench.....problem with that is, that Farrell will be brought on after 30 mins regardless

I'm already picking France as winners so nothing changes if England decide to start with a decent club 10 who might be international standard in a few years time.

These should all be very close games this week.

Italy v Wales - Italy will be missing Capuozzo and Wales will be glad. Italy narrow win. 21 - 14

England v France - England's confidence is still a bit shaky but with a clear week to work on things will have helped them, whereas France have overcome their poor start and started to find their way against us. This one could could either way but a narrow win for France. 25 - 32

Scotland v Ireland - Leinster A and a few others are quite rightly favourites for this one. If we can produce the same intensity as against France alongside the clinical finishing in the second half against Wales we could be in with a chance, but i think Ireland (they way they have been playing) will be too strong. 21 - 30

I’m really not. We haven’t beaten Ireland since 2017. Most of the time it hasn’t even been particularly close. Yes, we’re at home and we’ve played some good stuff this year, but we haven’t had any answer to the power game that Ireland play for years now. Unless Toony has suddenly come up with one, we’re going to lose.
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

I think this game will really test Scottish discipline.Ireland play such a fast paced game that's easy to get caught giving penalties to slow us down, & these can turn into cards.

One of the big improvements for Scotland has been cutting down the stupid stuff, & denying opposition sides easy meters; this game will show if they can keep this up.

I have. Irish arrogance has reached 2019 levels and albeit with changes Italy showed the limitations of their gameplan. They’re ripe to be ambushed and I think Scotland have a better chance of doing it than we do the week after, though I don’t rule that out
