Technically not my newest but just had a large fly being a pest. It lasted less than a minute with this. Highly recommend. The sound though when they pop makes you jump out of your skin though. This is a 2x 10w bulb.

Razer Kraken gaming headset. Don't need it, might sell it, but grabbed it as a presumed misprice in Amazon, for about £8. Normally sells closer to £60-70 :D.

Bought a pair of these last week:
WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones...

Lovely set of headphones, murder to wear in this heat though. Great touch pad/side of headphone operations, works a treat with calls as well. I haven't owned over ear headphones in years, but these are tidy.

I'm waiting to see what Apple offer up, but these Sony's are the front runners right now. I thought they weren't released until 21st Aug? Are you sure you got the 4's and didn't grab the 3's by mistake?

Probably the 3's 😂, my mistake. £260 UK, worth it though. My only complaint would be wearing them outside in the summer months, might get a bit sweaty.

Apparently the boxes are so similar  I personally would have waited for the 4’s, even at £90 more. They have some upgrades but importantly offer multi point connections so your tablet and phone sync automatically and you don’t need to be constantly in and out of Bluetooth connection settings. That’s what I’ve been hanging out for to upgrade from my Sennheiser wired cans.

Just received this. I sold my Philips before lockdown as I just wasn't impressed with the coffee taste or crema. Went for this one because only £125 on Amazon Italy  . Supposedly acceptable condition but it's immaculate, though no accessories. And secondly because people raved about the coffee. I have to agree, amazing coffee and crema, strong and full tasting.. It's a Melitta Solo.

First proper ride on them last weekend. What an absolute joy. Low pressure due to the tubeless setup, the control I had while bombing down a bumpy track was simply amazing.

It's so nice being middle-aged and finding true happiness in bicycle wheels.

Mrs Jimmy bought me Heroes and Heartbreak by Jamie Wall.

I like his breezy writing style but his Canes bias shows through.

Read it in one nerdlike sitting.

Went and bought a Bose Wave, amazing sound, been thinking of getting one for a while, and figure as I getting ready to retire, need something that gives me good sound as I sit in rocking chair! So that was bought a couple of days ago, a new lounge suite with a lazyboy, a new android tv, I am just about ready!

I was thinking of getting one of those massage chairs to put in front of the TV 😀

The Sony's XM3's and now the new XM4's are considered better than Bose currently. Depends how much you want to spend as other manufacturers have headphones at crazy prices. There's a Sennheiser headphone / amp combo available for NZ$92K.

Espresso machine with flow control, allows you to alter the pressure during extraction so can make unique hipster extractions. Looking forward to experimenting with this. Also significantly quieter then it’s predecessor so wife is happy.

Bose are an absolute joy to wear for long periods of time but don't have the noise cancelling skillz of the Sony's. Neither touch the B&W PXs for sound, although they crush my (definitely average sized, honest) ears after about an hour of wearing them.

The sony's have some pretty nice control features too, like proximity sensors instead of buttons. So you can do the dance to Tragedy by Steps if you want to put them on shuffle.

My understand of noise cancelling is that it essentially adds destructive interference into your mix to remove external sounds so I've never been clear about why good noise cancelling on expensive headphones is a good thing? Spend £300 to say goodbye to the bass for an entire flight

I lost my XM3's on my trip to Australia last year so bought a set of Toatronics for £40 from Amazon. I've not got the best ear but they are absoluty superb quality for the price and have never felt the need to fork out for a new set of Sonys.

One of these: Everdure Cube portable BBQ / hibachi. Used it twice and it works a treat.

As my Mooer preamp live guitar amp modeler just packed in and Juno refused to honour the "acceptable expected life duration" of a product (that cost me hundreds of pounds and lasted 19 months) and abused my statutory rights, I just got drunk and ordered one of these.
Decided to combine my amp modelling and effects in one device, so bought a Line6 Helix LT.
My Mrs is gonna kill me.

Cannot upload pic for some reason.

Try a vid.
