Eddie clearly likes Francis and Devoto given prior squad inclusions.
There really aren't that many EQP 12s around and fewer still of bona fide international quality.
I like Sam James, but he's much more of 13 than a 12 from what I've seen. Could maybe jam him in there, but it wouldn't be getting the best out of him.

It's fine. I don't really like the little red bits around the collar and biceps, but otherwise it's a largely white shirt with a red rose on it and the sponsor colour has been done in red to make it more cohesive with the overall colour scheme.
Not so sure about the training gear and the polo (which is my go to rather than replica shirts) where they've put full on red arm bands for some reason .
Purple one doesn't looks so bad to me

So all the lineups are up. Alfie Barbeary is starting at 6 for Wasps (Jack Willis is on the bench), Wasps have named a pretty strong side.

Yeah it's mostly our 2nds rather than full on academy nonsense at least. Good to see Esterhuizen finally available. Irish with a good shout here if they can put together a good first half though.Margin__Walker wrote: ↑Tue Sep 08, 2020 11:15 am Bin juice and academy for LI tomorrow against Quins. Flogging every last drop out of Robshaw before sending him to Gilead, I see. Not that a few more miles will make any difference, he's basically a Toyota Hilux.

We'll see. What kind of tight game can that pack put together? A similar LI team the other week got rinsed by Sarries mauling game, but were otherwise not blown away.
A good question. Depends how much time Flannery's had with them, I think. It's a beefy enough back row, but Lamb and Lewies aren't giants and I dunno about Botta and Kerrod's work in the mauls.Margin__Walker wrote: ↑Tue Sep 08, 2020 1:35 pmWe'll see. On paper we should win it easily but Quins are bonkers at the moment.

Yeah, something would have to go wrong for Quins to lose.JM2K6 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 08, 2020 1:37 pmA good question. Depends how much time Flannery's had with them, I think. Thacker just butchered an absolute walk in for Radrada which would have had the try bonus point chalked up on 22 minutes.
Saints clearly don't have a first choice backline out there, but the pack is plenty decent enough that they shouldn't be this badly under the pump so early on.

Would be interesting to know how much they're on attack / in possession, too. Exeter at the bottom makes sense given how they play the attrition game with ball in hand.
Sometimes they're like Wasps from a few years back. When they're on, they absolutely slice teams open, but can seemingly lose it and then struggle in the same game.

Willis is currently on 37.

Given increased infection rates and new restrictions, getting fans back in stadiums this autumn/winter properly is likely to be a real struggle.
Likely to hit the RFU and Clubs pretty hard.

Saracens will only lose a few grand a month.Margin__Walker wrote: ↑Tue Sep 08, 2020 9:53 pm Given increased infection rates and new restrictions, getting fans back in stadiums this autumn/winter properly is likely to be a real struggle.
