The problem in America isn't the liars; it's the slack jawed, uninterested, unquestioning masses who accept the lie, like an infant sucking on the any old teat stuck in it's mouth !

Democracy depends on an engaged electorate, & fuck knows when was the last time America had one of those !

It's interesting watching the Vietnam series, & documentaries about events like Watergate, & the Pentagon papers, because all of these led to the education of the US voter, & drove cynicism of processes, participants & engine behind them.

Were those previous events largely reported by a non-Partisan press not fixated with ratings and corporate greed though?

Could be another very interesting week ahead for the Shitgibbon clan.

Friday was the deadline the Judge in the NY case against the Shitgibbon Inc, for massive fraud, has set for each of the defendants to comply with the subpoenas served by the DA for corporate communications, & to return sworn statements that all relevant communications & devices had been turned over; i.e. comply & swear that this is all of it, or face perjury & potential obstruction charges.

Ivanka had been particularly remiss, & the DA was seriously pissed that according to her, the relevant emails she received went from North of 1k per month, to a lot less than a hundred ....

She has been keen to detach herself from this case, because according to her, she played no part in the management of the companies, but .... like Daddy like Daughter, & she lost every appeal & her name is on all the false documents, just like her scum Father & siblings !

The Judge isn't fucking about, & is already sick of the attempts to delay the case, so if any one of them is still not cooperating, I'd expect significant fines, & the threat of seeing the inside of Rikers until the subpoenas were complied with.

Probably not the re-introduction to NY Society that Javaka wanted !

The latest Rudy Giuliani lawsuit will have the tabloids wetting themselves.

On the one hand it confirms what a vile individual he is, but oddly enough, it feels a bit like he might actually be the victim in this lawsuit, because it feels like blackmail in plain sight !

An adult woman, of her own free will, consented to a bizarre job contract, which involved her providing sex to her employer. She seems to have been just fine with all of this until .... she realized that her employer wasn't going to pay her the $2 Million he promised her, & at that point she decided she was being sexually abused*, & not just stiffed by a John** !

Conveniently she recorded a ton of incriminating conversations, almost as if she planned for this eventuality ?

.... and just to maybe have some white knight fly in & give Rudy the cash to settle before everything gets plastered across the front pages, she also alleges a scheme to sell Presidential Pardons, & hide the money from the tax man, & his ex-wifes lawyers. She doesn't have any audio records, but says there was someone else present...

I thought the Librarians would get in there first, because a child of three could make the case, but it turns out that Georgia might beat them to the punch & have the orange turd, in an orange jumpsuit first ! I hope he likes grits for breakfast !

Fani Willis, the DA in Atlanta has telegraphed her intention to bring the indictment before a Grand Jury at the end of July, by asking Judges to clear their dockets for August, & telling all staff to plan to work from home for that month, & law enforcement to plan on closing off the area around the Court.

I doubt she's doing this for any trivial reason !
Georgia Prosecutor Signals August Timetable for Charges in Trump Inquiry

The Fulton County district attorney said most of her staff would work remotely at times, and asked judges not to schedule trials, in the first half of August.

The Georgia prosecutor leading an investigation into former President Donald J. Trump and his allies has taken the unusual step of announcing remote work days for most of her staff during the first three weeks of August, asking judges in a downtown Atlanta courthouse not to schedule trials for part of that time as she prepares to bring charges in the inquiry.

The moves suggest that Fani T. Willis, the Fulton County district attorney, is expecting a grand jury to unseal indictments during that time period. Ms. Willis outlined the remote work plan and made the request to judges in a letter sent on Thursday to 21 Fulton County officials, including the chief county judge, Ural Glanville, and the sheriff, Pat Labat.

“Thank you for your consideration and assistance in keeping the Fulton County Judicial Complex safe during this time,” wrote Ms. Willis, who has already asked the F.B.I. to help with security in and around the courthouse.

Ms. Willis had said in a previous letter that any charges related to the Trump investigation would come in the grand jury term that runs from July 11 to Sept. 1. Her letter on Thursday appears to offer more specificity on timing.

Her timetable, however, has already been pushed back as she has sought to hammer out cooperation deals with some potential defendants.

She has the infamous audio tape, & at least 8 of the fake electors, who presented themselves as the rightful Georgia electors, for the Electoral College, & a shitload of other Audio, & Video of GOP Officials illegally interfering in an Election.

I wonder where Meatball & Megaphone will be doing Meatballs campaign launch; with two egos as big as theirs & their common politics, maybe they can talk the Germans into using that nice stadium down in Nuremberg ?

Nice little torch lit parade, a bit of book burning, & then a nice long hate speech; just like old times.

They should enjoy their brief moment of joy, because their employer is going to be wearing an Orange jumpsuit before the Election happens !

He is so, so fucked it's hard to imagine, & all for a few cover sheets & maps, so he could show what an important person he once was....
The NYT wrote: Trump workers moved Mar-a-Lago boxes a day before Justice Dept. came for documents

New details, including alleged ‘dress rehearsal’ for moving sensitive papers, show a focus on Donald Trump’s instructions and intent

Two of Donald Trump’s employees moved boxes of papers the day before FBI agents and a prosecutor visited the former president’s Florida home to retrieve classified documents in response to a subpoena — timing that investigators have come to view as suspicious and an indication of possible obstruction, according to people familiar with the matter.

Trump and his aides also allegedly carried out a “dress rehearsal” for moving sensitive papers even before his office received the May 2022 subpoena, according to the people familiar with the matter, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe a sensitive ongoing investigation.
Prosecutors in addition have gathered evidence indicating that Trump at times kept classified documents in his office in a place where they were visible and sometimes showed them to others, these people said.

Taken together, the new details of the classified-documents investigation suggest a greater breadth and specificity to the instances of possible obstruction found by the FBI and Justice Department than has been previously reported. It also broadens the timeline of possible obstruction episodes that investigators are examining — a period stretching from events at Mar-a-Lago before the subpoena to the period after the FBI raid there on Aug. 8.

That timeline may prove crucial as prosecutors seek to determine Trump’s intent in keeping hundreds of classified documents after he left the White House, a key factor in deciding whether to file charges of obstruction of justice or of mishandling national security secrets. The Washington Post has previously reported that the boxes were moved out of the storage area after Trump’s office received a subpoena. But the precise timing of that activity is a significant element in the investigation, the people familiar with the matter said.

...

Of particular importance to investigators in the classified-documents case, according to people familiar with the probe, is evidence showing that boxes of documents were moved into a storage area on June 2, just before senior Justice Department lawyer Jay Bratt arrived at Mar-a-Lago with agents. The June 3 visit by law enforcement officials was to collect material in response to the May 2022 grand jury subpoena demanding the return of all documents with classified markings.

John Irving, a lawyer representing one of the two employees who moved the boxes, said the worker did not know what was in them and was only trying to help Trump valet Walt Nauta, who was using a dolly or hand truck to move a number of boxes.

“He was seen on Mar-a-Lago security video helping Walt Nauta move boxes into a storage area on June 2, 2022. My client saw Mr. Nauta moving the boxes and volunteered to help him,” Irving said. The next day, he added, the employee helped Nauta pack an SUV “when former president Trump left for Bedminster for the summer.”

The lawyer said his client, a longtime Mar-a-Lago employee whom he declined to identify, has cooperated with the government and did not have “any reason to think that helping to move boxes was at all significant.” Other people familiar with the investigation confirmed the employee’s role and said he has been questioned multiple times by authorities.

Irving represents several witnesses in the investigation, and his law firm is being paid by Trump’s Save America PAC, disclosure reports show. A lawyer for Nauta, Stanley Brand, declined to comment.

Data from Bureau of Labor Statistics out Friday showed there were 339,000 jobs created in May, topping Wall Street estimates for 195,000.

This marked the 14th-straight month that job creation came in above what Wall Street economists had expected and the largest monthly increase since January.

More likely a combination of innate stupidity and the natural result of never once having been held accountable for any of the numerous crimes he has committed and lies he has told in over 70 years.
