Stokes couldn't run two very often and Australia bowled to prevent the big hits.
Not because he’s standing still tho. He’s jumping around like a cricket on a skittle. Has done for the last 7 years.
You don't stand still to short bowling. You have to move your body if you want to duck it, if you want to get on top of the bounce, if you want to try and get your hands out of the way.
These guys are bowlers, Anderson has just worn one in the grill, and Broad survived for nearly two hours showing great bravery. The old guard don't deserve to be accused of cowardice because they aren't squarely in line behind every single shortball.
