It’s you nats that need to be worried
Glad to see we have gained a few new faces and a good number of us have successfully made the leap.

Whats the craic with Darge? He going to be the fabled no.8 we've been waiting for?Begbie wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 9:57 am Darge, Boyle and Grahamslaw have signed pro contracts with Edinburgh.

I thought Darge and Boyle both projected as sevens.Jock42 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 9:09 pmWhats the craic with Darge? He going to be the fabled no.8 we've been waiting for?Begbie wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 9:57 am Darge, Boyle and Grahamslaw have signed pro contracts with Edinburgh.

And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?
I think it's one of those 'how do we get both these lads in the same team' kind of situations.

I have this horrible suspicion we’ll still be looking for this No 8 in another 10 years. It’s become our perennial ‘problem’ position, just like standoff was between Townsend and Russell, and like 12 was, well, between the 80s and Scott/Dunbar/Johnson.Jock42 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 9:09 pmWhats the craic with Darge? It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
I reckon Ritchie might be away before too long. Deserves to be somewhere he's viewed as number one choice. Mata might go for a payday and Watson is 30 now as well. In two years we could be looking at Crosbie, Bradbury, Boyle and Darge.Jock42 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 9:31 pmRoger.
Not sure they're both needed if that's the case. Great from an Embra pov but could possibly stifle 1 or both development.

Love the look of both Darge and Boyle (from their highlights reel anyway).
And on the 7th day, the Lord said "Let there be Finn Russell".

Darge is an excellent player having seen him at Melrose.
Hr is strong has a good head and plays with a bit of edge - he will be a senior international

Scott Steele is out of the door at LI after 6 seasons if anyone is after an experience, if unspectacular 9. Former Scottish U20.
Don’t see him at either of the pro teams. Might add some experience to a Super Six side.Margin__Walker wrote: ↑Fri Jul 03, 2020 6:13 am Scott Steele is out of the door at LI after 6 seasons if anyone is after an experience, if unspectacular 9. Former Scottish U20.

Yeah, they call him Mr Greig.
So I squares up, casual like.
