Ahh, the Oirish like to talk.

It's not good that players are bellowing at a referee at U20 level

The ref is getting the breakdown wrong, imo, but at least he is consistently doing so for both teams

Ok Jauneau was turned over there, but almost everything he does oozes class, he is going to be one hell of a player

Jesus, the Irish are getting marmalised in contact. Imagine lining up against that 8, 3, 17 and 19

And I don't think Carbonneau is too far behind!

The French players just get through so much work individually in order to further the team*, that was a great try

*This used to be a failing in French rugby

Awesome performance. Irish humiliated, French look like they have several players ready to step up and compete.

Can't think of many recent tournaments where the winners have put 50 on their semi and final opposition. A fearsome team.

Also, let's have a moment for the commentary team. It's mostly been the same two guys across all the matches I've seen and they've been refreshingly neutral and good natured throughout the tournament.

And that was without Gailleton (top scorer this season in T14) and Bielle-Biarrey who is with the seniors too.

Hat trick of wins now. The changes to the foreign player rules added to a step up in professionalism brought in by non Fre coaches is paying handsome dividends.

I was massively critical of the selection against Ita in the 6N, saying it was one of the worst U20 sides I'd seen. Fair play to the coaches who made wholesale changes which culminated in this.

The French looked outstanding, probably the best performing u20 team performance I've seen. The French 8, 3 and 12 look like top top players.

I've never eaten duck - I live among vegans and vegetarians so it's a case of what is worthwhile making the effort for - a single steak is fine, as is the odd chicken, but otherwise my opportunities are curtailed somewhat when it comes to classic French cooking, which I really really love.
