Three local SA Schools teams will play against France and England from 11-18 August 2023.

SA teams have already played each other after Craven Week and a group of 26 will be selected for the series. The Invitation team will be out of the Stormers area.

France and England use this yearly series to prepare them for the next 6 nations tournament.

England beat France 41 - 0 in their first game. Really easy on the eye as a performance.

Lots of talent in this year's crop.

That'll soon be coached out of them - look at all the quick ruck ball and speedy SH service - can't rigidly follow a plan if you're playing everything that quickly..............

England should hammer the WP XV, chosen from schools in WP who rugby season has ended, so a Paarl XV. They had no time for preparing for this match. Game start at 12h50 , live on channel 211

Oom, in your opinion, why are we struggling? Is it because France play in a U18 6 nations? We have limited exposure to international rugby.

Surely we have the talent to do better?

This is u18 and France and England only play u20 six nations.

This is the first time our schoolboys play international. Its a big occasion for them and need more time to get together and play as a team. As you see now they play much better in the 2nd half and will need to lift a lot to compete with a very good England team. France and England will get rewards when their u20 Six nations starts at the end of the year.

French staff has now been suspended following the Narjissi drowning.

I suppose they'll get fired or the Union is waiting for their contracts to expire.
