Moody definitely touches it, but Dyer slaps it too quickly for us to see whether it was knocked forwards or backwards.

Harsh, that's a long time to take to get it wrong.

Eesh. Not sure I would have kicked that away, but it worked

I think it's fair to bin Dyer for the slap, but there's no way of saying whether the ball would have been regathered and try scored.

When she's in the TMO seat, nobody is sure. Least of all her. Clueless.troglodiet wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 2:59 pmAgree.
If they were really unsure, they could've awarded a penalty.
But it should've been a scrum red.

Who's the "she" TMO you're referring to?
Haven't watched a lot of Rugby lately so first time I've seen her.

Joy Neville. I'm not quite as scathing as Torq, but I don't think she's good at her job.troglodiet wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 3:04 pmTorquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 3:00 pmWhen she's in the TMO seat, nobody is sure. Least of all her. Clueless.troglodiet wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 2:59 pm

I actually think she got that right. It was not clear enough from the video nor the ball trajectory that green had touched it.troglodiet wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 2:59 pmAgree.

The onfield ref got it wrong though.
Only supposed to be a pen try if you remove the red player from the interaction and still been able to state a probable try.
Well clearly that’s not the case. Green missed the ball and went right on past!!!

In answer to my own question
15 INFRINGEMENTS IN IN-GOAL
All infringements in the in-goal are treated as if they had taken place in the field-of-play

There was the one shot from behind and slightly to the side which clearly shows it touched Green hand first.
Agree with the rest of your post though.

Even worse considering how many times the Welsh scrum got penalized for getting massacred.Insane_Homer wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 3:25 pm Lol, Welsh scrum in reverse folds in half and win the pen

Holy shit, this game is really teaching me how fast Kriel is. I new he was pretty quick, but I didn't realise he had this kind of pace.

Now I'm really feeling guilty as a Bok supporter, and even worse feel extremely sorry for the Welsh.
They don't deserve this.

I don't think Wales have been too bad in patches but the suicide moments have been deadly

Now that's a forwards try. Win the turnover, take the lineout, a couple of strong carries and done
