Ford with a aimed knee to the head that misses so clips his head with a boot instead 👀

Is it just me or are the commentators taking the piss out of England?

Must admit, for the Fiji No1 to give away '3' dumb penalties in a row shows an amazing level of stupidity.

Malins did his best with the situation there, but that was never on.

England failing to get the ball out of the maul has been an enraging theme over the last couple of seasons.

Urgh. Rain doesn't help but urgh.

Earl and Willis invisible at best, Dan looks like a good athlete who doesn't yet have the skills for his position, Cole so old he should be wearing red shorts, Steward has dropped a lot, we haven't used the centres since the first few minutes.

It would be great if Fiji could pull this off, but surely they can't, England quality across the park is just too good.

So, we make plenty of ground with quick ball and then close in immediately revert to slow ball to static pods of forwards flopping over until we run out of space and options and Ford tries a miracle kick which fails.

Don't forget gradually being forced backwards even before the 'out of ideas' grubber.

Was that a shot to the head or not?

Fiji player's reaction would say yes, ref and TMO say no.

(watching on phone so it's impossible to see. Perhaps fortunately)

Looked to me well worth another look, very fortunate there given how upright Marler was.

Earl caught napping at the ruck, Fiji deservedly take a big lead. Smith on with Ford at fullback, can't be any worse than steward today.

late 90s/turn the of the millenium style is in with Gen Z apparently. Look forward to seeing a lot more nu-metal and post-grunge band member facial hair on the youth.
