The better team , set pieces aside. Just doesn't translate to points
RWCR1 France vs All Blacks
Fingers crossed eventually a gap is created. If the guys can keep it up and France don't get their house in order there's every chance. But it's HOT. Who knows how the last 15 is going to play out as legs wobble and the brains turn to mush.

Agree. We've barely seen 3 phases from France. It's like they never bothered to watch the SA game.

Hah. Finally a replay. And as I suspected, it was friggin' Moefana at fault.

I'd watch that half of rugby 50 times over any of the shite we've crapped out of late.Paddington Bear wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 8:04 pm France should be pleased with that. Their tactical kicking is hardly exciting but has stopped NZ being able to unleash their more potent attack, and their work around the breakdown has given them a lead.
Let the jury remember the sheer amount of kicking in this half when neutrals start talking about their eyes during the Ford spiral bomb session tomorrow

With so many heat breaks (fair) they should cut down the time allowed for HT.

Not a great game so far, hopefully picks up in the second half. Nz the better team for me, but I’m falling asleep here.

As we all know, so much of rugby is mental, maybe the whole build up has got to them. Decent chance they will lose tonight but they’ll be fine

We’ve been horrific, but this is poor fare for two potential world championsHal Jordan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 8:09 pmI'd watch that half of rugby 50 times over any of the shite we've crapped out of late.Paddington Bear wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 8:04 pm France should be pleased with that. Jesus, for those of us watching on ITV, Mark Pougatch looks like he was out all night and most of today as well and sprayed on half a can of Lynx he bought from the train station Boots 5 minutes before he went on air to try and cover the smell of the booze.
Penaud 5/3Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 8:12 pmWould like to see who was at fault. My bet on top 3: Moefana, Jalibert and Penaud.
We could conceivably see Dupont to FH, Lucu to SH, Jaminet to FB and Ramos to 12.
Fickou 4/4
Moefana 4/3
Jalibert 4/4
Props have missed 2 each

I'm not missing replays. The game has flowed without having to watch a director's idea of the best crowd shot ever.

Papali’i looks like he’d not win a breakdown turn over if this game went for 10,000 years.

The replay work is absolutely fucking terrible. Why the fuck are we not seeing the Telea knock on, FFS?
