For all we hear about the 6N having a responsibility to admit Georgia to grow the game there has been a real lack of progression in the African countries out with SA.

Italy are doing nothing special. Namibia are not good and will be whipping boys here.

Interesting defence by the Italian last man there to take the easy and worst defensive option.

Water break? There's been 3 tries where they've been taking on water.

Italy not protecting their ball, Namibia turning them over easily.

The backs just met on the bus on the way to St Ettiene? They look clueless.

They’re meant to be having official water breaks in the middle of each half.

Claire Thomas (ex Lacrosse international :wtf ) on the UK and SA feed has got verbal shits. She's got her team study notes written down and determined to use them. "Namibia famed for its desert, but want to end their RWC desert" Jeesus wept.

Italy are struggling with Nam's outside in rush defence and the pressure Nam backrows are putting on the breakdown. Italy were totally closed out of that second quarter. Nam have a backline that can score Rossouw/Deysel/Greyling/Swanepoel have all played a lot of provincial rugby in SA, should've got a bit more out of that half, they looked a bit nervous when they were shifting the ball. AC has them playing Stomp rugby, pressure on defence/quality backrows/spread ball wide.

Someone needs to tell the female commentator how to pronounce Afrikaans names. Sounds like she's trying to put an Afrikaans "g" sound into Van Jaarsveld, and is getting Rossouw totally wrong which she has given a oo sound like in zoo. Not knowing how to pronounce names and making it up, is an Aussie level approach to commentary.

Also not the full story. Nam couldn't help it if their match against Canada last time was cancelled, which they were favourites to win.

She’s said “gone awry…” about 30 times already.

Yes, pretty impressed with them.

Can any of the Saffers give us a bit of background on them? If they had some decent WR funding what’s the chances of them becoming a force?

I’ll be out there in November, really looking forward to it

I heard Coetzee say that some of them have had to quit their jobs to play in this world cup

Capuozzo was lucky there, that was a truly dreadful attempt at drawing a player

Must be a few Namibians, or Namibian qualified players in the SA system

There must be some sort of secret competition to see who can butcher a national anthem in the most dreadful manner possible.

Although whatever they do to the dreadful dirge that is God Save The King, it can only improve it.

Look rusty. And have 12 days off until their next match against Uruguay. Poor preparation for France and NZ later.
