If that was an Irish player rather than Steyn, Johnny Sexton would already be pleading in front of the UN Human Rights Commission
Purely through luck. It’s the defenders responsibility to get them to ground and relying on him spinning a full 360 doesn’t cut it.
Anyway, lovely Scotland try there.
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?

Whilst I like the sentiment, Scotland are not shy of a pop at the ref either!TheNatalShark wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 4:15 pm If that was an Irish player rather than Steyn, Johnny Sexton would already be pleading in front of the UN Human Rights Commission

Ya, but these things are reffed on what actually happens, not what you imagine might happenBiffer wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 4:16 pmPurely through luck. It’s the defenders responsibility to get them to ground and relying on him spinning a full 360 doesn’t cut it.

Don't think you'll find many who think Ritchie speaks well to the refs, ayePaddington Bear wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 4:18 pmWhilst I like the sentiment, Scotland are not shy of a pop at the ref either!TheNatalShark wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 4:15 pm If that was an Irish player rather than Steyn, Johnny Sexton would already be pleading in front of the UN Human Rights Commission

Tonga have been asking for a red all game. Every tackle has been high. Thankfully they've got one.

Whatever else in terms of the quality of decision making, bunker system or no, we are seeing no evidence of players modifying behaviour. Just more reds and injuries.
Yeah, the on field team didn’t even discuss it so must be the way it is being dealt with now

Quite. No option but to drop the tackle height nowTorquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 4:28 pm Whatever else in terms of the quality of decision making, bunker system or no, we are seeing no evidence of players modifying behaviour. Just more reds and injuries.

Needs bigger punishments before that changes.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 4:28 pm Whatever else in terms of the quality of decision making, bunker system or no, we are seeing no evidence of players modifying behaviour. Just more reds and injuries.
Notable that last night was extremely physical, brutal, and punishing but no high tackles.

Does it matter? Assuming they don’t cock up the call heresockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 4:30 pmPredicted it as soon as they brought the bunker system in, we're only going to see on field reds for stuff like obvious punches or head butts from now on.
