If so, makes sense, they were 8 behind. Should always take a quick 3, then you’re straight back with a chance of try to win it. If you go for the try you will burn up the remaining time and at most get a try before time runs out, and lose.

I thought the same at the time, and probably still think it wasn’t the best play there, but having just seen a replay Fiji had it covered better than I realized at the time. It’s not like they just needed one last pop pass.
