Wishing Scotland beat Ireland and knock the Springboks out of the RWC.

He is most likely the Chairman of the Cape Crusaders Supporters Club too.

This is indeed quite the development, has he all along been wearing black on Saturday's when the AB''s play? These are important questions we must find answers on. The truth will out!

He is quite obviously anti Springboks and therefore anti Stormers and WP.

:shh: Fuck me, I throw the lines in the Indian ocean and it end up in the Atlantic. Happens when you live in the southern tip of Africa. The water is vuil with all the floods but the fish is great.

I'll support the Scots on saturday. They only need a 8 point win. Prefer the All Blacks next. Their supporters always bring the lucky draw argument in the past.

What we've got here is failure to communicate. In this instance only allowing a narrow reading of 'great'

I'm confused - if Scotland win, South Africa will almost certainly top the pool, won't they?

As far as I can see it's mathematically impossible for South Africa to be knocked out now...

Ah. You've missed the fun hypothetical discussion on PR!

If Scotland win 5-1 and by 21 points or more then SA get knocked out.

So 5 to go, Scotland/Ireland have both scored 4 tries and Scotland are, let's say, 15 points clear, we're better off conceding than trying to score.

Oh I see - the winner of the head to head outranks points difference. Hadn't realised that.

Once you've decided the group winner, yep. Which is why we have to either win the pool or Scotland does. Only the very unlikely 5-1 result I mentioned sees us come second, otherwise we're either pool winners or out.

For the Springboks to get knock out it mean Ireland have to score 4 tries , add Sextons kicking, they may end up with 24 points, add Scotland need to win by 21 and it all mean Scotland will have to win 45 - 24.

Which will be a massive win for them which mean they deserve to go through.

The reason why I am a traitor.

I have a better chance getting pragnent.

Pretty much, helps if they can catch. We do draw the line at Offa’s Dyke though.
