My understanding was the Kiwi refs were super vigilant on the breakdown.

Perhaps too much so.

Moeroa returns to rugby after a career in mungo.

A 22-50

We're in for a close finish....

Pretty good match for the first game back.

No shortage of spite either

Never noticed before that Kearns whines a little bit in the last 10 if his team is losing.

Yes. Yes he does.

Once you get used to the noise it’s quite delicious.

Weird being at the ground with everyone so spaced out. Odd atmosphere. Hard to get an idea of the crowd size, but I'd be surprised if it cracked 10k.

Pretty average performance from the Reds I thought, but farken happy we won.

The Waratahs were pretty ordinary to be sure.

Thor needs to go on a protein diet for a couple of months.

Night all, enjoyed chatting about the game, see you later.

Just back from the local ... disappointing as a tah's fan, but glad to have seen some rugby over Friday evening beers!

Thought the Reds were the better side throughout, but made very hard work of it.
